The resort itself is quite quiet, I would prefer a little more buzz.

The entertainment in the resort was fine, although this was the first time we had ever been 'chucked' out of a bar in Spain at 1pm as it was closing!!!!

We visited the beach once, I don't like the sand much, however we had a great lunch on the beach. My son visited the beach more often with his friend and their family. He prefered it to the hotel pool, probably something to do with snorkling which he ejoyed.

I would go back to this hotel, however I like try something different each time.

Beach in Port Des Torrent is probably the best in the Bay area (comparing to others toward San An) but not as good as ones farther south: Cala Bassa, Cala Conta, Cala Codolar, Cala Tarida and others. My favourite is Cala Bassa, very good when with small kids. Easily accessible, by bus (1.25E) or boat (3E from PdT).

Shops (food) around for self-catering. The cheapest though small and basic is probably a corner shop El Paso, straight near the beach, good for water, milk etc. Our favourite was Suma, on Av de Sant Agusti, towards San An.

We didn't spend that much time out of the hotel but what we did see was clean and friendly. There was a small beach area near our hotel which had a small snack bar and sunbeds for hire but we only visited for a short time as our daughter preferred the pool at the hotel.

Port des Torrent consists of a few bars and shops and a small sandy cove.
San Antonio starts about 4km from Port Des Torrent for a busier nightlife.

It's a bit barron around the resort, a few new hotels going up but ok if you want to get out and explore.

Port Des Torrent is a splendid resort with a lovely sandy and small beach as well as some rocky beaches too. There are lots of entertainments at night ideal for families including fabulous cabaret, sports bars, karaoke bars and mini fairgrounds which have mini carousels, trampolines and bouncy castles.

There are many excellent places to eat, most are cheap and have very good childrens menus as well as English and Continental food. Try the Old Tavern, the food is excellent and cheap and is ideal for youngsters who like nothing better than sausage and chips, chicken nuggets, fish fingers etc. The salads are wonderful and very tasty.

Port Des Torrent is about 10-15min from Seaview Hotel. Buses stop outside the hotel and are every hour, very cheap and take you into San Antonio where you can reach Ibiza and other parts of the island. Some buses you can pay the driver, others, particularly those from San Antonio and Ibiza you have to buy Tickets from offices near to the bus stops. Be warned the buses can get crowded, especially from San Antonio to Ibiza and vice-versa.

Supermarkets in Port Des Torrent are cheaper than the ones by the hotel and if you are buying cigarettes to bring home then you will find them cheaper in the tabbacconists than supermarkets.

If you are going to other parts of the island by bus, allow yourself plenty of time as some buses do get overcrowded and you may have to wait for the next one.

Recommended trips include the Aguamar Water Park in Playa den Bossa, where you will have to catch three buses from Port Des Torrent(Port Des Torrent-San Antonio, San Antonio-Ibiza and then Ibiza-Playa den Bossa). Also watching the fabulous sunset at Cafe del Mar is an absolute must if you want to see one of the most spectacular sunsets and natural wonders of the world, sitting back enjoying a relaxed drink and chilled out-ambient music as the sun sets into the sea around San Antonio Bay. It's truly unbelievable and the neighbouring bars of Savannah and Mambo provide top class entertainment with saxophone players playing as the sun-sets and top dj's provide an excellent atmosphere. You can also watch the fire jugglers on the beach. Amazing experience and one of my favourite places in Ibiza.

The beach at port des torrent was lovely for a 2 year old, very safe and clean with a nice snack bar to get some lunch. beds are 4 euros but I have found this the norm and no more expensive than anywhere else. The fruit seller comes round but a simple 'no' and he goes away, no problem there. There are toilets round the back of the snackbar for you to use and you can catch the boats from the lefthand side very day to San An. town or other beaches. We ate out every night for 7 nights in different places in the san.an.bay area and can recommend the Little India for a nice curry and the Gold Crown for a nice three course meal..with live music. We would, as a fmaily return here out of season whe it is quiet...think maybe july and august would be little noisey in the hotel as it holds so many guests.

The resort was still quite lively even though it was October, everything was still open.

The beach is not massive it is a little cove and there is a snack bar on there which is great.

The walk to San Antonio Bay on a night time is great as it is cool and relaxing and you walk past the rocky part of the sea and you can see some beautiful sights as you go past there, there is no hill to climb it is all just flat level so it is not exhausting to walk into the Bay and there are plenty of supermarkets if you wants to stock up if you are self catering, as I say there is plenty to do in the Bay too, Karaoke, Cabaret nights at restaurants, live music and Quiz nights.

The Gold Crown, Old Taven and Casablanca are three good places to eat. We also tried the chinese restaurant which was ok but a little pricey and not massive portions.

Ideal for a family holiday.

Port des torrent is a lovely little area just outside San Antonio, where you can escape the hustle and bustle if you want or get the bus into San Antonio for €1.10 each, or a taxi for about €7, there is also a boat but the water was a bit too choppy for my liking so we didn’t try that, but I think it was about €2 each.

Sun beds could be hired on the beach for €4.

If you get the bus to the harbour, all the main shops are up all the little streets heading away from the harbour, you will find a shop called May and La Sirena although they are a little pricey, but don’t leave your duty free shopping until you get to the airport as the prices are horrendous.

Although we gave the resort entertainment a 3, we didn’t really use it as we had brilliant entertainment in the hotel we stayed at.

Port torrents was a pleasant resort with a good choice of quite reasonably priced restaurants. there were two Chinese take aways, one Chinese up market type eatery an Indian restaurant and many others featuring Italian, Spanish and English type dishes.

The bars showed football and the soaps on sky TV. If you enjoy walking you could walk into San Antonio (about 2 miles away) and the buses were regular, on time and quite reasonably priced at one euro ten each way. Would visit the resort again.
