Just back from 2 weeks at The Bonaire and what can I add to the already excellent reviews? We were a couple with no children but I would 100% recommend this Hotel to anyone with young children. There is not much really for pre teens/teens, more for toddlers. Everything a family could wish for is there. The day programme is packed with lots of different activites and the evening entertainment is of very good quality e.g. Tribute bands, magic shows etc. We were on a Self Catering basis which allowed us to eat out and also at the Hotel on a day to day basis as we wanted. The local takeaway Pizza place was excellent too if we wanted to chill on our verandah and take in the views. Book this accommodation with confidence, it won't let you down.

This is the second time we have stayed here and as last year it was excellent. We stayed in block 5 which had a sea or pool view. We got the sea view which was great. The room was as good as last year and so was the hotel. The pool area was clean and safe for the kids. The entertainment was good and the kids loved the disco & the super kids spot which is on every night from 8pm till 9pm. We sent our 4 year old to the kids club 10am till 12 noon most days and she would come out with a prize of some kind or with her face painted and it is all free of charge. The kids reps were excellent and i had no problem leaving my little one in their care. Overall a top holiday.

The Bonaire hotel is fantastic. I spent 14 nights there and I was never board. The Grid was brilliant run by Sarah and Chud then by Sarah and Sam. There was never a dull moment.

They knew exactly the stuff we wanted to do and made sure we always had a laugh. All the reps were fantastic especially Ruthii Jugs what a legend this girls is. She

Hi. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday do not go this hotel in the summer. It is full of screaming kids.

I will say the food was outstanding and the hotel staff were great

The cleanliness was good as well.

From March- September it's classed as a kids hotel. From September-March its a laid back holiday

Hotel clean, pavements washed every day, pool well looked after, even for the beginning of the outdoor season!

Food excellent, after years of self-catering, would recommend this as a first for half-board.

Location, quiet out of season, plenty of strolling to help the digestion...not many bars open as we arrived after 3 weeks of horrendous weather which had delayed people in opening up.

Hotel staff, friendly, spoke or were English, waitresses sometimes too efficient, but humerous.

Entertainment was more directed for the OAP's who were in abundance, the best night was the duo, if they are still there, watch their faces as the organist takes off into a tune without them, entertainment in it's own rights, to be fair, they looked newly formed, were very nervous and not english, which launching into some british lyrics would scare anyone.

Would visit this hotel again, the bargain we picked up would be very hard to repeat (but I'm trying)

The Hotel/apartment was clean and tidy, however its more like being in a self catering apartment than a hotel room. If your looking for a more upmarket hotel with hotel standard rooms these are not for you. Its an upmarket self catering holiday accommodation.

Staff are helpful and food good although by the end of a week you would go elsewhere.

The complex is obviously child based and good if you have children but if you are looking for a quite couples break don't go here.

Having caused a bit of a kerfuffle at the Son Matias Hotel a few weeks earlier (see review) I thought it best to put a bit of distance between us and Palma Nova, at least until the dust had settled.

We were off for a few days to the Bonaire Hotel in Cala Bona on the other side of the island. This time though, instead of shrouding ourselves in the comfort of a package holiday we were going it alone.

Booked up some cheap BMI flights from Cardiff and 3 days half board at the Bonaire on the Internet, just to see if we could do it the

We have just returned from one off the best holidays ever. The staff where all very helpful & pleasant.

The food was very good plenty of it and lots of choice. We arrived just before midnight and found a meal off salad, cold meats, fruit, bread and butter, plus 2 bottles of water waiting for us. It was my birthday and I thought it would not be noticed because of the late hour, but next day we were given a card, bottle of champagne and a very nice birthday cake.

The location was excellent, very close to the water ideal for walking fishing or sitting in the sun and people watching.

The entertainment in the evening was brill both the reps encouraged you to join in but did not overdo it

Although the Hotel and Staff were very helpful on our return to England both our children were admitted to Hospital With Salmonella food poisoning. I would have writte a review before but was hoping to go to court and have been told that as we purchased an upgrade at the resort and not in the uk we are not able to pursue the case any further. So if you are going to this resort please upgrade before you go you never know when you will need it.
