The resort is very clean.We ate in a different place every night and never had a bad meal.Everything closes at 12am so i wouldn`t really recommend it for the Ibiza clubbers out there,but it was late enough for us.The beaches are beautiful,gorgeous white sand,which is great for me as i like to know what`s underfoot!
We had a really great time met some lovely people,i would definately come back but i am one of those people who like to try different places.

Resort was good but a condiderable walk from Cala Ferrera where we were to the opposit side of town which was the Marina (with Cala D'or in the centre). Shops tend to be the same every street with the same items on sale. Prices in the specialised shops (sports/ watches etc) looked way over the odds of prices at home especially for Barcelona Jerseys etc....so save your money and buy at home. To eat... the Duke of Devonshire is great value...but you need to book if you ar a large party as it is always crowded. Good food, nice staff and value for your Euro!! The Cheers restaurant in Cala D'or was also good but service abit slow...but would recommend. Enjoyed the football in Walshies...no nonsense pub with TV's at every angle with 4-5 games on the go at one time!! Had lunch at the Marina one day and enjoyed the view of the boats. Bit more pricier but thats expected.
So..overall - I would recommend the area etc and hope some day to go back!!

Cala D'or is a wonderful resort with lots of different restaurants and bars as well as play areas for the kids.
There is always something going on and it is a clean and friendly resort. The hotels are brilliant (I recommend the Cala Dor Playa Apartments). There are great bars including the Hollywood Bar and Eden Paradise and a recommended restaurant is Cafe Karin II
Cala D'or has great beahces and boutique stores, a family location and a definatly worth a visit; *****

Cala d'or is a lovely upmarket resort. Lots of nice bars, great shops and lovely terrazza type areas with jazz bands playing and great to just have a wander through the streets. Not the place to go if you want loud nightclubs. Beaches lovely and picturesque but small coves rather than long stretch of beach. Get full quite early.

Stayed mainly by the hotel, marina beautiful, very clean. As two women travelling on our own we felt very safe. Favourite resort in Europe! Can't fault it!

We thought the town cala dor is really nice we ate there every other night the restaurants are superb especially the tapas ones all gorgeious. We ate at the port marina and was expecting very good quality and it was not a patch back up the hill in the centre. Car hire is good value 56 euros for 3 days worth seeing the island 1hr from palma good shops. Would return here without a doubt...

Clean, beautifully located, small coves with clean sand and very pretty, resort entertainment okay for the little ones. We would definitley go back. The place is picturesque, clean and hot!

The resort itself was very clean, plenty of places to eat, and a good selection of food preferances.
Away from the apts the entertainment was ok, not a lot for your 18-25 year olds who like to go clubbing, shopping OK.
Beach itself when we found it, was nice.

Cala,Dor has a small centre which is mainly full of bars and cafes ideal if self catering.
Cala Egos area where the Rocamarina is placed was clean and offered a good variety of shops and bars.
It was very quite at night no rowdy behaviour after midnight.
Small train recommended for getting about.

The resort was very clean and staff friendly. Plenty of places to eat out. Would recomend 'The Duke of Staffordshire, service and food excellent, all English staff. Entertainment was much the same, tribute singers and kareoke, hypnotists etc, but most of it watchable over a quiet drink. Beaches were very clean and very beautiful, each little cove has its own uniqueness. We travelled on the little train which was good value for money, 3 euros, and you could get on and off at different stops. We went into the harbour which took about 20 minutes, got off and had a walk around and then caught the train back, its a good way of seeing a bit more of the resort. We only heard good reports about the resort before we travelled and cant find anything bad to say ourselves, so would we return, definately yes.
