The resort is purpose built with a selection of shops, bars and restaurants. The shops sell the usual tourist goods. There are a few small beaches, we went to Calas Domingos beach where the sea was very warm an exceptionally clear. There are a couple of crazy golf pitches. There are local buses frequently running up and down the East coast from Cala Bona down to Cala D'Or, calling at Calla Millor, Sa Coma, Porto Christo, Callas de Mallorca and Porto Collom. Boat trips from the resort go up the coast to Porto Christo, Cala Romantica, Sa Coma and Cala Bona. It is very easy to visit the lovely Caves of Drach by public transport.

Is about an hour transfer and when approaching looks a little remote and quiet, but the coastline is beautiful.
The resort is not for those who want to be clubbing etc, but there are a all kinds of bars/restaurants to suit all tastes.
There are a couple of crazy golfs, takeaways, laundarette, a motor-train transport to travel around town. Fairly decent access to bus routes.
Although didn't spend a great deal of time away from complex what we saw and did would not stop us from returning to the area, very picturesque.

The Hotel Samoa is situated a short walk from the beach which is a small coved beach. It doesnt get overcrowded and is lovely for a 'cool down' as a nice breeze there at all times. Lovely waves for children to play in! Be careful when leaving clothes etc there though as a few had things pinched whilst in the water. Hotel is very central for shops and night clubs that were open until 5 and 6 am!

the resort was very nice all in all loads of bars etc food really reasonable if you eat out we did twice at the karoke bar well worth it the beach was very picturesque but when you get there it was filthy fag butts everywhere etc

we only strayed out in the evening but great for small chidren was the mini funfair where you buy tokens for the rides. There did appear to be a couple of small bars but we had the children so didnt bother.
The beach and sea were fabulous but very very busy, still what did i expect in August.
There was a maze of small shops outside the hotel which was mystifying as to how to navigate around but nice to wander around.
Resort was clean and felt safe.
i would recommend to young families looking for cheap and cheerful.
Probably not the best place in Majorca but definatly not the worst.
Good value for money.id visit the resort again but maybe look for air con next time!

The resort was very small, and as it looks like most hotels are all-inclusive there wasn't many bars with entertainment. Loads of shops selling same thing. The bars that had entertainment was same everynight. I enjoyed the resort, but I will be trying somewhere else next year.
Resort very good for kids, at night time two fairs with rides and very large bouncey castle opened.
Some parts of the resort are like a ghost town, it looks like the resort was ready built for influx of people but never really took off. Shops shut on beach and hotels closed. The resort is an hour away from everything if you fancy doing trips, and can be a bit costly.
Please don't be put off, it was a nice place and I enjoyed the holiday/place very much, its just an oppinion we are all different in what we want out of a holiday resort.

Beaches are really lovely.you can take a boat trip from cliff at beach to porto christo and on way back it stops so u can have a swim in open sea really nice.
The town center is fab plenty of shops to choose from and nice food bars to eat from.dawn our rep recommended D,alfiles it serves food which is brilliant and to exspensive either but the main reason to go is jhon the singer/comedian he is out of this world if you dont find him funny you dont have a sence of humour,hes there on a sunday,wedensday and friday nights startin at 9.30pm.go go go not to be missed.

Nothing much in the resort apart from bouncy castles, trampolines, bikes etc. Not many shops to go around and not much to do.
