Having read some detrimental reports regarding the Flamboyan Caribe we travelled to Magaluf in July 2004.
The hotel was exceptionally clean, in an ideal location and beyond what we had initially anticipated.
The standard of the food was excellent with regard to choice and preparation.
We would certainly return to the Flamboyan Caribe.

Stayed on AI basis paid that bit extra for a 4star as we wanted something really nice. On arrival we found we were in a twin room with an extra bed shoved in front of the bathroom so we asked to be moved. We had to pay extra for this even though what we then had was shown to us on our correspondence as a typical room. It is in our opinion no different to any of the many 3star hotels we have stayed in. Entertainment didn't start untill the 6th day of our week. Halfway through holiday we were told we could not get our drinks from the main hotel that we were staying in but had to go next door, down large number of steps. This other hotel bar room was bit like Cafe with TV blaring out so not very welcoming. Food as other guests have commented on was rather boring although the breakfasts were ok. Didn't much fancy the cold carrots covered in mayo and not a lover of meatloaf or chicken nuggets. Location was good though and most of the staff were quite nice. Very noisy hotel as popular for stag and hen groups so didn't get much sleep. Therefore I would reccomend it is for the younger generation. Makes me sound old but even in my forties I like my sleep! Would,t return as felt we were bit mislead over this but thats not to say everyone would feel the same.

The hotel was very clean and the food was most of the time good.
There was no entertainment at all.
The location is brilliant, there is a lot of night life right outside the hotel which was very good.
The staff our very nice and kind.

The location was excellent as there was a lot of nightlife.
I am revisiting this hotel in May 2005.

I have just returned from my holiday at the Flamboyan hotel. I had a fantastic time the hotel was lovley as was the location.
The night entertainment was a little dull in both the Flamboyan and Caribe as the Caribe showed movies every night, they were mainly action movies. This didn't bother me as you are very close to pubs and clubs and I met some nice people.
The food was nice, though it was mainly the same, but again you are near pubs clubs and restaurants.
The location of the hotel was brilliant there about 15 steps and your on the beach.
I would definately go back to this hotel.

Had a fantastic week at the Flamboyan in March 2004.
Incredible sea views, warm, friendly staff and loads for everyone to do. Took our two-year old and he had a great time. Could be a bit more for kids in respect to the play room, but it really is ideal for couples. It

We only stayed in this hotel for a long weekend celebtating my husbands birthday.
We were amazed at how clean this hotel was. Our room had everything, aircon, balcony with table and chairs and the bathroom was well equipped. We even slept on the bathroom floor one night, but we won't go into that! let's just say we had terrible hangovers the next day!!!!!
The staff and food were excellent, and we couldn't of wished for a better location, only a few steps down to the beach, and a quick stroll the pubs and clubs.
We enjoyed every moment of our break, and we would definately come back, with our 2 children next time.

I have to say that before I travelled to the Flamboyan I was a little bit nervous as to what to expect what with all these reports on it. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. When we got in the room it didnt look up to much to be honest, the curtains were drawn. opened them and the view across the sea was absolutely amazing - if you are going do book a sea view room or u may be dissappointed. The food was ok not great though but i am a fussy eater anyway. Burger King was only down the street so I didnt mind. Great location for nightlife/ restaurants/ bars etc and good for the beach too. We stayed in the Flamboyan part but apparently people i have spoken to who have stayed in the other part ( Caribe ) have said its not as nice. Would definitely go back again !!

Just back from Flamboyan on 8th Aug 2 days ago had brilliant holiday hotel was very nice very clean, food was very good although it was similar every day but very close to restaurants on beach so didnt borther me, this hotel was mostly spanish, german and french visitors.
Location was perfect couldnt be better sea view a must front of hotel noisy at night close to night life.
Staff was nice in reception apart from one man didnt no a word of english got mixed up with the numbers of r rooms all the time we had to write it down for him once!
i would go back to this hotel very up class facilities

Just returned from holiday at this particular hotel on 22/4/02, the location coulndt be bettered, a sea view room is a must book it before you arrive to avoid disapointment, the rooms are all you require, kept clean, 4 piece bathroom suite with hair dryer,TV,and air conditioning, (a fridge would be nice) good size balcony with 2 chairs and a table where you can sit and catch the sun all day. Small pool with childrens section, but then your only a few steps off Magaluf beach. All in all a great location for a fun filled holiday for all the family. If i had one critisism and its only a small one, the food was a bit boring, still you are surrounded by so many alternative eating places it didnt detract from a great holiday. Book it now, I will return to this hotel without hesitation. ( if i get a sea view that is)
