We arrived to see an argument between a group of boys and group of girls straight away. I hope its not going to be like this all week we thought.

However, the reception staff were then very helpful and we soon got sorted out and checked in.

The clubs were a nice walking distance to and from the bars and clubs which was brilliant considering some of the states we got in.

BCM and DJ Sammy was the highlight of the nights out.

This was an all round hotel if you are prepared to eat out or lots of viel!!

The reps were brilliant when around for entertainment value and even managed to get 2 of us on stage in warpaint and hula skirts.

I would definately go back to see what it was like in the middle of the season as it was so good at the end.

On first impressions the hotel looks good with a large reception area that is staffed 24 hours a day.The reception staff spoke very good english even though i speak spanish.
The hotel food was ok nothing special but there was a alot on offer and fresh hot food was bought out on a regular basis. The staff in this area seem to be less helpfull here but i think this is because of the language barrier so a little spanish would help here.
I thought the location of the hotel was great 10 minutes stroll to the beach. opposite the pirates stage show and 10 minutes walk to the town very close to all the shops etc.
To be honest the entertainment was bingo and family games type stuff not for us but ok.
The worst part...... The rooms do not have air con so in august it was hard to get to sleep and the younger residents made alot of noise when they came home at 3 4 and sometimes 5 in the morning

as a frequent holiday maker to the med, i was astounded by several diabolical aspects of my stay at the don manolo hotel.

firstly, the food provisions were apalling at the best of times and unspeakable between meals. one does not expect a gourmet standard of cuisine at an all inclusive hotel, but one does expect fresh food not warmed up from several meals previous, and drinks not watered down to a tasteless, transparent, liquid.

which brings me on to my next concern: ALL alcoholic beverages were weak and barely drinkable, in fact, one night of eating and drinking at this shambles of an establishment was enough to force me to discard my all inclusive wrist band.

to make matters worse, we unfortunate guests were greeted by unhelpful, rude and downright ill-mannered staff. in particular, it seemed to me that one receptionist was bordering on anti-english.

in summary, this sub-standard hotel was an all round disappointment, which left us feeling deflated and unwelcome. as far as i'm concerned, the don manolo is a "don m'no-no!"

we booked through alpha-beds in sheffield ,told us this was a family hotel (far from it)whether it was because we went out in july i dont know . the food wasn't great but edible at times. there were young ones being thrown out of hotel every other day , the hotel was strict + took no nonsense off any of them . hotel + resturaunt was clean. the entertainment team were brilliant , they tried hard to keep kids happy +we did generally enjoy ourselves , but to put families in with 18 2 30 clubs was stupid , it was getting better near the end of our stay as the rowdy ones were either going home or being put out. i would go back 2 this hotel but i would make sure i didn't go in the middle of july as we all know magaluf is a party place june aug/sep would be better

This Hotel was disgustingly dirty. The reception staff were unhelpful and rude. The Manager was particularly nasty. The food was edible if you went early, dineing room staff were friendly and efficiant. Rooms were basic but clean enough.Linen was changed regulary. There is no Air Conditioning so have to leave balcony doors open when in the room. All through the night the Yobs were running up and down the corridors screaming shouting and banging on the doors. We did not have a full nights sleep in the week we were there.
we were not told that this was an 18 to 30 Hotel as being in our 50s we would never have went near the place
The entertainment was good as the boys did there best.
All drinks were in Plastic I did not see a real Glass Glass the whole time. All in all this Hotel was awful

We booked this holiday through Libra Holidays in Sheffield. Our party consisted of 2 18 year old girls and 2 Adults. Whilst booking we noticed small print that stated that this hotel was lively during the summer months, perfect for the two 18 year old girls!

We arrived there after a 4 hour delay to find out that out rep hadnt called through and requested meals for us, a good thing maybe.

The first morning we had the food we hoped it was just a one time thing as the weekend was obviously a busy time. But we were wrong, being a vegetarian I find it had to eat at places anywhere, but here it was almost impossible. I had to live on chips, pizza, pasta and ice cream the whole holiday. The food seemed to stay the same through out the holiday and all the nice food was taking by the early birds. Towards the end of the holiday we got that fed up of food we ended up just going to pizza hut and mcdonalds, which on an all inclusive board shouldnt have to happen

The reception staff were rude and unfriendly and basically ignored you at times! All the other memebers of staff were lovely. Although one rep did act very arrogant towards us on the last day, basically as we didnt want to join in with his game!!

The rooms were basic, espcially for the price which was payed. The sheets never got changed! But luckly we know spanish so when ever we asked for something we would get it.

The alcohol was nice, but not much of a choice. Also most of the bar staff were nice and would let you have whatever you wanted if it was there.

The hotel was loud, but as one of the 18 year olds I enjoyed this but can understnad what it was like for familys but, if you asked the loud people to stop making a noise they would.

Overall I am going to differ with the other comments although i do agree with what they are saying. I tend to have found is that they are only little things that are wrong that you can work around or bring it to the attention of the staff and they were soon resolved as we found out ourself. It was a great holiday and I would go back to don manolo. Its perfect for people that arnt going to pick and choose at things and just get along with having a good time

The all inclusive board basis was ok, with lots of variety, including free ice cream and alcohol all day, the cleanliness of the hotel wasn't to bad, had a cockroach or two in the 4 rooms me and my friends stayed in though.

The location of this hotel was ok, it was about a 10 minuite walk from the main strip, and about 5 mins from bcm planet dance.

The hotel staff were ok, quite polite but I wish they wouldnt come in to clean so early, after clubbing till 6am in the morning and not getting into bed till 8.30am the last thing you want to hear at 9 is HOLA CLEANING LADY!

The entertainment was good, catered for the party goers and familys, some activities really got you involved. my mates were on stage more than once.

Well the food was horrible I lived on Pasta and bread most of the week. In the end we ate out as the food wasn't that great. The hotel staff were friendly enough; also room was ok but basic. When we first arrived we couldn't even get into the hotel we booked so we were sent next door, we were told that there was no room at the hotel and that we'd have to sleep in the hotel next door but use the facilities and eat in the Don Manolol.

Which was stupid because my mam is semi disabled and could not walk that far everyday. After 2 days we eventually got into the hotel (after practically begging them). All in all we had a good holiday, I am returning next year with friends but will not be staying at the Don Monolo (sorry!)

There were 17 of us who stayed here, on a hen weekend.

Our ages ranged from 21 - 45, most of us are either: married, living with someone, or are single parents(except for the young uns of course). We went here to celebrate a good friends last weekend of freedom, before she got herself hitched, and I have to be honest and say we had a fabulous time.

The entertainment staff in the hotel have a very difficult job, they are catering for families, same sex groups of adults, singles and people on hen and stag weekends, however I and the rest of my party thought they did an excellent job.

The hotel is in a great location, 10 minutes walk from the resort centre, and about 3 minutes from the nearest bars and restraunts.

In all honesty I read some of the reports on this sight prior to going and was worried sick, at what to expect, but we all really enjoyed ourselves.

The food is served in abundance, and if your not a fussy eater there is absolutely loads to choose from. Starters included: soup, fruit juice, salads Main meals: choice of meats (hot and cold), chips, potatoes, pasta, rice, pizzas, vegetables and salads amongst lots of other things Desserts: to numerous to mention, however, the hotel is only a 3* and if its a la carte your after then you will need to pay the extra couple of hundred quid to get it.

All in all we never had one complaint, and all of us have said that we would definately go back.

At the end of the day you get what you pay for, and we paid for a cheap all inclusive no frills holiday, that is exactly what we got. EXCELLENT!!!!!

If you are planning to stay at this hotel it is best to go all inclusive because you can drink as much alcohol as you wish.

The hotel was fairly clean but the downside was trying to get clean sheets.

The food was disappointing but edible there was plenty of fast food around the area, the hotel was close to the main strip and a short walk to the beach.

The hotel staff were ok but there were a few that seemed that they just didn
