Returned again this year to the Kensington apts and am pleased to say they remain the same again.Everything from cleanliness to location,etc all great.
If I had to point out a downside it would be because they are located above a supermarket its quite noisy first thing in the morning.Also no air-con if you go the height of season.
The owners although speak very little English are extremely helpful and friendly,he even lent me his iron one night when my friends were using mine and he heard me asking them for it!!They also tolerate a lot as we made lots of noise and mess when coming in drunk and nothing was ever said to us.
We are booking again to go in April so that speaks for itself.
Cheap,clean and cheerful what more could you want!!

We stayed at the Kensington for 5 nights in April.
From the outside they look quite scruffy but inside they are great.They are basic but very clean.
There was 10 of us and we had 3 of the rooms between us.Its only a spitting distance from "the Strip" where all the main bars are and if you go the other way the beach is only 50m away.They are great because they are so handy for everything.
The owners are Spanish and live on the floor above and although they speak very little English they are very friendly and you can get by.
Our room was cleaned once while we were there which is not too bad for a 5 night stay.
Our flight home wasn't until 6pm but they let us keep one of the rooms for 2 euro's each til 4pm. The other rooms had to be vacated by 11am.
The safe deposit box was $10 per room and we had no problems whatsoever.
Overall I would recommend these apartments if you are looking for something cheap and basic but clean.
Would I return to them ??? Yes definitely.
