Having been to this hotel before and having a great time I was looking forward to going back, I wish I had not. There have been so many cut backs that this hotel has gone from a great 4star to a lower 3star.
As said before no porter to help with bags (I have a heart problem) on Mon, spare ribs Wed, spare ribs, Friday guess what correct spare ribs. As a none smoker it was nice not to breath every ones smoke, but I did feel sorry for the smokers trying to keep dry round the pool while they had a fag.
Staff need a supervisor to make them work 4 behind the bar only one serving 3 chatting to each other.
Yes the dinning room is cramped but just look where you are going. Dinning room staff did try to clear tables but too few to succeed, dinning room manager never spoke to us in the week we was there and never saw the hotel manager at all.
We will not be going back but took the chance to look at other hotels and found better ones with only 3stars

As this was an A.I offer at a good price I was not expecting a lot but as a four star I did not expect it to be as bad as it was.
As in other posts this hotel has a 95%no smoking rule (why dont they tell us)because as a smoker I would not have booked this hotel.
Food was hot but the same after 3 days,Staff do not look after the customers Bar/reception/dinning room,the only ones who did a good job were the maids.
The pool area is very small I noticed that the awards this hotel had got were 1995 and 1996 behind reception.
It is about time this hotel was rerated as it is not a four star.

I agree with all postings since July this year hotel has new owners and have been told by other guests that it is not as good as last year.
Food bad, staff not friendly.
Pool small and pool area.
Bar staff not friendly or very interested in you the guest.
Would not go back.

First off, this hotel should be 3 star not 4.
Food hot menu repeated after 3 days. Dining room very cramped,smoking not allowed in dining room in brochure part allowed smoking. No food or drink to be taken out of dining room so if you wish a cigarette after breakfast with a cup off tea/coffee you will have to wait till bar opens at 10am.
Entertainment area a no smoking zone, you have to sit out side ok till it rains, then they close the pool bar so inside bar becomes very busy. Staff at bars dont concentrate on what thay are doing as they are too busy talking to each other. All drink are seved in half pint glases and a max of 3.
Asked if I might have a safe no not till 4.30pm. Got to room no door on safe. May I have a porter to help with cases, no porter.
Room maid great only person who got a tip. In summary if you are a non smoker, fit enough to carry your own cases, slim enough so you can move round the dining room and you are only a party of 3 you will like this hotel!

I visited this hotel with my girlfriend, who unfortunately pulled ligaments in her leg shortly before we went. This meant she was wheelchair bound for most of the duration of the holiday, which we mainly spent in the hotel due to this.
Fortunately we meet two lovely couples, (Brian & Mary, George & Rose) who alone contributed to making the holiday very enjoyable.
Most of the comments in the below review are correct. (Especially the lack of smoking areas) but this hotel still serves it purpose as an all inclusive hotel and does it quite well.
The pool area is too SMALL and too shaded, unless you are an early bird and willing to queue for beds at 9am in the morning.
I would visit this hotel again if they where to extend the pool area, and made the entertainment area smoking.

Hi,we stayed at this hotel in May/June & said we would go back, well we did & all we can say is that we enjoyed it just as much the second time round.
There was a little more competition for the sun beds but meeting all the staff again was great,Trinni & Carmen good fun & of course Keith & Susana were their usual tormenting selfs . Rooms still up to top standards of cleanliness & we think the food was even better this time.
We are seriously thinking of returning next year to give the allinclusive another bashing. PS.all best wishes for christmas & happy new year to all @ Palma Nova Palace

Went with my husband and was very disappointed with this hotel after reading earlier comments.
Staff could not care about the guests except the room maid.
Food repeated every three days.
This hotel is against all smoking.
Dinning room very confined do not clear plates very quick, no dress code.
This hotel should be a 3 star not 4, I expect a porter on a 4 star not here.
I believe the hotel changed hand in July and having e.mailed Globeles group they admit they have cut staff to keep the price down

From reading the reviews on this web site was a bit unsure of the hotel. Myself and my boyfriend 18 and 19 went to this hotel 25th of June until 2 July. I have been to magaluf 4 times and this is definitely a lovely clean hotel where everyone is really friendly and helpful. I am returning in 1 month and I definitely recommend this hotel especially all inclusive its great!! Plus the hotel is an adult

Alright guys, we must admit after reading the reviews on this hotel we were not happy about going! Good job we took no notice because we had a brilliant holiday.
We went all inclusive and have no complaints about the drinks. The meals were lovely but we found in the second week they were a little repetitive.
The hotel cleanliness was excellent we had clean towels every day in our rooms and our beds were always made. The rest of the hotel was very clean there was always a maid pottering about cleaning up.
The location of the hotel is a five min walk from the beach, bars and restaurants in Palma Nova and a two min taxi ride to the main strip of Magaluf.
The staff in the hotel were pleasant and easy to get on with, you could have a laugh with them.
The entertainment team were brilliant Keith and Susanna made a brill team and very funny in the shows! They got people to join in (including us) which was a great laugh!!!! They were very friendly and would do anything for you.
We would definitely go here again, there were all ages but everyone got on great.
We are all 21 and made a lot of friends.

This hotel is absolutely brilliant - I really can't believe all the bad reviews it received. Those who didn't think it was 4 star must have been expecting to be fed grapes whilst being fanned down.
Don't believe any of it - the food was fantastic, the hotel was immaculate and the entertainment team (Keith and Suzanne) were great - they make everyone feel welcome and try to get everyone involved.
We (Dianne, Chris, Linda & Eric) met lots of people at the hotel and had a fab time overall.
We will definitely stay at the Palma Nova Palace on our next visit to Palma Nova!!
