We only had two issues with this accomodation - the lift was on the other side of the complex so we had to lug the cases upto the top floor, the room wasn't cleaned as often as it should have been and we were told that we'd put the 'do not disturb' sign up which we hadn't.

We have just returned and have decided to go back later this year, so that shows how much we enjoyed this holiday.
The staff were wonderful, my husband has MS and we were given a disabled friendly room which was perfect. We did check out the other rooms and they were perfectly adequate had we been given one of those.
The complex was lovely and clean and easily accesible to the beach and numerous bars and restaurants. We would advise eating at Splash! as the meals were lovely. The Sandcastle bar is ideal for those with kids as it has games and toys for the little ones.
If you are going to La Galea you will have a great time!

We went to La Galea and had a great holiday . the kids loved it also.
The position of the hotel is the best in costa teguise , you can either have a sea view or a pool view.we got a pool view on the top floor ( great ) which was only 3 small flites of stairs.
Anna , Amelia and Cruz are the best hotel entertainers we have had in our 6 family holidays we have had.first choice .....will not be my first choice going forward.....we never saw anyone after the welcome meeting.thank goodness the hotel staff were great.
Pools , entertainment and staff were very good. The sunbeds were abit dodgy and needed some investment. The only blemish we would say was that the bathroom was not good. the word plumbing must not translate in spanish, the taps and toilet were not attached , we did complain on the first day of our holiday but never heard anything.
That aside a very good holiday !!!

We stayed on the top floor with a sea view. The room was clean and spacious.
The kitchen had enough equipment to make basic snacks but the hob took ages to get warm. The location is excellent, just minutes away from restaurants, bars, beach etc.
The shower in the bathroom was excellent, very powerful and refreshing. The beds were not that comfortable though.
The pool area was very nice, though in high season I would think that it would be a nightmare trying to get a sunbed. The grounds are kept in very good condition with nice lighting, plants etc. We didn't eat at the hotel but other guests said it was good.
I would stay at this hotel again.

This was our second visit to la Galea - which shows how much we enjoyed it the first time!
It is kept clean, though unfortunately several children had ear infections on our second week. However this was clearly being investigated - we saw the pool inspector testing the water.
Entertainment was a bit quiet, unless you are into shooting every day, but there was also pool, table tennis, shuffleboard and some water polo. Enrique and Lotte (the entertainers ) do a great job, and are very professional and courteous.
I would recommend it, especially for families we met some great people out there, of different nationalities.

This was our first time staying in apartments and we were very impressed with the facilities in the room.
The only thing that lets it down is the lack of air conditioning it got very hot at night.
Everything was very clean and the maids left extra towels ect on a cart outside so you could help yourself if required.
We stayed half board and there was plenty of choice of food although often the dishes were not labeled so you didnt always know what you were eating.
The location was excellent right by the sea and all the bars and resturants but wasnt noisy at all.
The hotel staff were friendly but didnt hassle you and the entertainment team offered activities day and night but nothing to our taste, most people went out in the evenings.

The hotel was superb,we were self catering but everyone said the food was good. The maids cleaned thoroughly 5 days a week and on the days they didnt they left a cart of towels etc to help yourself, even soap and shampoo. The location was fantastic with a lift to the promenade and nightly entertainment. Out of reception you could go left to the coastline and right to the centre.The entertainment was for everyone. Kids club, and games all day including rifle shooting,pool ,waterpolo, tabletennis, shuffleboard etc.The kids and adults all got a certificate if they won a game and if you won five you got a medal both of which were presented between the kids disco and the bingo prior to the adult entertainment. The stall were fabulous Enrique and Lotte were great at getting the guests to mix and join in but didnt hastle anyone.

I have been to the La Galea every year since I was 7 and every time I have enjoyed it the same I would recomend the hotel, it is that fantastic.
The hotel receptionost are very friendly and always there to answere your questions or help if you need it.

Although on a quiet side road the back of the hotel actually faced onto the beach, and there was access via a small subway (hotel occupants use only).
The rooms were spacious and well equipped, with a large balcony area. The hotel grounds were well maintained, the pools clean and all surrounding areas very well tended.
Poolside bar did a good toasted sarnie, and even had cookery demonstrations in the daytime.
Pleanty of things for the kids to do, we even won the hotel quiz and the price was fab, beach towels, t shirts, hats, beach balls etc in fact I felt like someone who had just won crackerjack!
Fab restaurants nearby plus a good selection of pubs...try the chocolate fudge brownie in the Irish Bailey bar on the seafront.
We enjoyed it so much we are going back again this year ..along with 14 of our friends.
Do not hesitate to book here, well worth the money.

We stayed at La Galea Aptments in Costa Teguise. The location was brilliant as there was access to the promenade at the back of the hotel. The hotel was quiet and the rooms were clean well furnished and pleasantly decorated with a spacious balcony. We had a top floor apartment over-looking the pool area. The gardens were very attractive. The staff were friendly and helpful. The entertainment was quite good though not always to our taste.
