Just arrived back yesterday after a two week visit to El Trebol which was absolutley fantastic, there is four pools loads of sun beds a pool bar which was open 12 til 5/6 which sells your hot and cold snacks drinks and ice creams.
We found the staff brilliant, very friendly and always there to help if need be, can't comment on hotel food as we was self catering, the location is brill as you are so close to everything its great.
I found the entertainment quite good altough the kids mini disco could do with being an hour rather than half hour as they love it.
I am already looking to book again for next year as we loved it that much, everyone is very friendly.

Just returned from El Trebol, accommodation was okay, a bit basic and in need of redecoration.
The only problem we had during our 11 night stay was the lack of hot water for showers and baths. We did complain to reception, but situation did not improve. Water varied from luke warm to cold, so we ended up heating water in kettle and saucepan. This is the main reason I would not go back as El Trebol is a nice hotel if a little money was spent on it.
The other thing is the towels which were meant to be changed every two days, but the we had the same ones for the last four days. Rooms cleaned 5 times a week.
Did not try the restaurant as we went self catering and ate out in the many restaurants around the resort. People we met who were half board said the food was okay.
Hotel bar entertainment was okay and bar prices were good.
Plenty of sun loungers and pool clean every day.
Location very good, as plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from.

The hotel was in need of new furniture and redecoration.
The cooking facilities were not good at all.
The food was rubbish at breakfast because it was always the same the meals at dinner were ok but not fab!!!.
The location was good you had the beach was only 5 mins away and 10 to the waterpark unluckily when we were there the main bit was closed and the hotel wasn

The hotel is in dire need of redecoration,the room was dark and damp. The food was the most boring I have ever tasted in all my years of travel.
The staff in the hotel were rude and had a couldnt care less attitude to complaints regarding cold water,damp rooms and no changing of towels.
All in all not a welcoming hotel as expected.

We stayed at the El Trebol on a self catering basis so cannot comment on the food.
The entertainment provided nightly varied from quite good to very basic,the music bar was pleasant and the price of the drinks was reasonable.
The pool area was large and plenty of sunbeds to go round but no umberellas to shelter from the sun.
The location of the appartments is quite near to the Cucarrachas centre where there are plenty of bars and restuarants.
The apartments themselves are in serious need of refurbishment but are relatively clean. The maid service is a bit hit and miss but that could be down to a shortage of staff. There is a large oven but no toaster, kettle, or teapot.
You can get a taxi from the airport for 15 euros (

We went to El Trebol in June 2001 and 2002.
We found it to be a really nice and friendly place to stay. The rooms are basic but there again you are only in them to sleep.
The staff are friendly - they remembered us from the previous year (but there again once you have met my hubby it's no wonder - lol).
The food was good - yes it can be repeated but having said that you are always able to find somewhere nearby to have a change. Having children that are fussy it is hard to go to a restaurant and my daughter actually finding something she likes. At the El Trebol she enjoyed been able to choose herself and she actually eat new things and enjoyed it - so it's a good pointer for families.
The entertainment is good for the children with the mini disco and then there is some light entertainment for adults later on.
We enjoyed it so much we are going back again this year in June with our latest addition to the family and are looking forward to catching up with our good friend Abbi.
