The Hotel was very basic, but clean.
I agree with most people, this hotekl needs Air Conditioning, it was terrible, even with the doors wide open, we hired a Fan, which was a little better

Hotel food was OK, we never went hungry.
My two year old little boy Jack thought it was fantastic, Eating all the ice cream he could.
Hotel staff were very helpful and always stopped to say hello to Jack.

The entertainment staff, well I adored Kieran I thought he was fantastic and should have been in the final 10 of pop idol, Hayley and Matt and Van all had fantastic voices and kepy us really entertained. If It had not been for them this would have been a terrible holiday.

Booked 2 weeks before we travelled as last minute bargain. (Not such a bargain as it turned out) Had a look at all the reviews after paying in full and must admit wanted to cancel. Couldn't afford to lose the money so went with intention of making the best of it!

I agree with a lot of the comments regarding cleanliness especially around the public areas, left a lot to be desired! The public toilets were dirty and I held my breath every time I had to go in. I was on the look out for cockroaches all the time as they give me the creeps. Only saw one in the bathroom, but do make sure that you put all the plugs in at night.

The hotel needs air con and now!! Most uncomfortable trying to eat in the dining room as there wasn't even any fans on the ceiling to move the air around. We had to hire a fan for the room and that didn't make much difference.

I witnessed one of the waitresses cleaning around the rubbish bin and then cleaning around the coffee/tea machine with the same cloth !! She seemed to have that cloth in her hand all the time and didn't appear to rinse it.

My son and myself have both had tummy upsets since we arrived home but are you surprised !

The food was better than I thought it was going to be but not much choice and the puddings were dire ! Trifle with a pastry base, what is that all about? I enjoy Spanish cuisine but for the sake of the people that go there I think they need an English chef.

The swimming pool was a bit deep but not too bad. Not enough sun beds for everyone as usual. I suggest that you take the courtesy bus into Playas and get on the nice beach there, very pleasant.

The staff were nice especially Julie who served behind the bar most days, they work very hard at that hotel.

The entertainment in the evening was the redeeming feature especially for kids. The hypnotist was a bit tame.

The location of the hotel was not brilliant if you like a stroll after dinner. We took the bus into Playas a couple of times, and I must say the driver looked just like Des Lynam!!!

As I said we will not be going back to that hotel but shall go back to Tenerife.

When we arrived at hotel it was in the early hours of the morning. Next day we thought we had been taken to the wrong hotel. I was in total shock, kids where running about unsupervised. The room we stayed in 116 was on the floor where the entertainment was carried out, and we were right next to the lift.

When we booked our holiday it was at the last minute due to my partner having a brain tumour removed, we where told this was a quite hotel mainly for couples and we would be guaranteed a quite holiday, there was no chance of that.

The food was edible but with so many flies about we preferred to eat out.

The room was basic, we only had our room cleaned once while we there.

Due to some unruly guests the entertainment manager left, the poolside attendant left, and the hypnotist would not do his show, yet nothing was done to these guests, there language was appalling, you just felt intimidated the whole time.

I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy, it says its 3 stars, and I would not give it any

Not sure what everyone here is on about. This was our second visit to this hotel in 5 years and we will be coming back again !!!

The staff seem to work 24 hours a day without a day off !!

The food is great - based on how much it costs !!

Some people want to pay 3 star prices but expect 5 star facilities - Believe me - this is one of the better 3 star all inclusive hotels I have steayed in.

We booked this holiday as a last min deal. Then we came onto this website and read the reviews, we were a little concerned what we had in store on our holiday.
However we excepted the worse and were pleasantly surprised. Yes it was a little like Butlins in the sun and bingo twice a day a bit much.

All the hotel staff, First Choice reps and entertainment team were very friendly and helpful.

Our rooms were clean and tidy the maid came in every day except Sundays.

The biggest surprise to us was the food which was hot, lots of choice and plenty of it.

The resort itself didn't have much going on but the public transport was excellent and cheap.

We all enjoyed are holiday and please don't be put off by the reviews it was all in all good value for money.

Hotel cleanliness was ok, room was kept clean but the public areas ( pool etc ) was a bit grubby, mainly due to lots of people who couldnt be bothered to use bins.

Hotel food was cheap & cheerful, chips for the kids, full english in a morning and a decent choice of salads, puddings etc.

Location is in the centre of Callao which is not Americas by any stretch but when you are on an all inclusive with 3 kids, you very rarely go out to the resort ( apart from Beckhams to watch the football ! ) I personally found the hotel staff very good, waiters and bar staff always happy and good with the kids, reception eager to help.

The rooms were very basic and no air conditioning throughout the hotel is something which needs sorting, how can somebody build a hotel in Tenerife with no air conditioning ?!?! I complained to reception about a couple of minor things that needed attention and they were done within hours. I agree with other reviews where the entertainment is very Butlins, if you dont like bingo and quizzes you might get a bit fed up( I'll personally never think of the number 50 without that horrendous 'song' for as long as I live ! )

In summary, I read reviews on here before I went and seriously thought of cancelling, took my own bleach and cleaning stuff, just in case !! But when I got there I was pleasantly surprised, only went for a week and the holiday is what you make it, either you join in and enjoy yourself or sit and grumble,I paid just over

Well were can i start. My partner and I went for a quiet week away just to chill out and and relax and thats what we did.

The hotel itself isnt that bad rooms are nice and clean and with loads of space only down fall with the rooms is there is no air con and in Aug being the hottest time of year was a bit of a nightmare lucky for us we were on the 5th floor so we left our balconey doors wide open to let in the little bit of air which was about.

In the day we didnt go by the pool much we went on the sun terrace which was on the roof which was lovely the veiws from there was stunning and it was adults only which was nice they also have a snacks and drinks up there and a shower to jump in and cool off which you need to do cause up there its mega hot.

We didnt really eat at the hotel food was not to our taste very spanish! but been in a all english hotel you would think they would get a english chef!at lunch time food was very simlar to the eveing meal also food was always cold.

We enjoyed one meal we had which was at mcdonalds! nearly eat our fingers off! it was a good job we like to drink cause we got our moneys worth even more so with not eating the food!

The entertaiment was tacky haley has got a good voice best one there!in the day they played bingo and do a quiz bingo is a bit over the top stupid comments after every number that ends in a 0 you will know what i mean if you have been or when you come back. You wanted to throw the mic in the pool!

Hotel staff was all friendly and work long hours and really hard. The rep was there every day and always asked us if we were ok which was nice. We felt sorry for her though because you know when you go on holiday and you always get some one whos not happy with anything and moans the whole time they are there.
At the end of the day you get what you pay for! its a 2 star not 5 star and your holiday is what you make it. No point moaning about it just try and enjoy it!

We had to be out of our room by midday we couldnt keep our room on because there was people coming in later that day so we had to have a shower in the courtesy room which was horrible the showers was dirty and you had every ones case in the room you got changed in people could just walk in and out which wasnt nice they dont even supply you with a towel. We had to use our towels we had bin sun bathing on. So we didnt feel clean afterwards! we wont go back to this hotel again if they up dated it a bit and kept on top of the maintance it could be a lovely hotel.

The resort it self is nice and quite with a couple of bars and shops but no air con in them either apart from that the holiday was ok for a week. im glad this was'nt our main two week holiday i think i would have cried.

As already said no air con. Rooms were clean but with a family of four in one room we were cramped and not much storage.

Meals were all very good there was not a day any of us went hungry and some in our party are quite fussy eaters. Meals were always hot.

Staff were very helpful and most were cheery.

Reps for First Choice were brill. Julie was always on hand if you needed any advice.

The entertainment staff were all exceptional every day they would try and get you involved with pool side activites the bingo was fab, we won a few games good money too. Night entertainment was even better what voices they all have, each with their own style, something for everyone. Well done Van, Haley, Matt and Keiran. We were all well entertained all ten of us.

The kids club was also brill where they get that energy from I dont know. Really friendly, even to the kids that are older shows how popular they are all if the kids know them all.

We came to this hotel for our tenth wedding anniversary, well what a holiday we'll never forget!

Grime in rooms only cleaned twice, plugs hanging off, window in bathroom hanging off, balconey doors wouldn't shut. Not much fun with a two year old. Cuboards with no handles, lift not properly aligned, no teeshirts alowed in pool unless you hire them, no inflatables, cracked tiles in pool, not enough sunbeds, only a handful of parasols, food inedable, cockroaches around food area of which we have photograpic evidence. Pool too deep, kids section too small, pool closed twice due to poo in pool and we had to make our own arrangements for a pool and food and drink.
I would never go back to this hotel never.
