Food was excellent with good opening hours, we managed to get breakfast one day!
Snack bars are great and the staff are good with the kids, we had plenty of sunbeds and parasols every day even during the main whit week! Rooms are clean with free minibar also the aircon worked and the power shower never run out of hot water!
Help yourself drink tables were a bit flat but plenty of choice, if you want fizzy then queue up at the bar.
Entertainment every night but usually the animation team and they aren't that talented, although the kids loved them. Pool towels available at the hut 10 to 1pm, then return them between 5 and 7pm. If you are late you go without, be warned.
Overall we had a great time sizzling all day and chilling all night, not much off site but with all the facilities available we were not bored.

We stayed at the Bahia Principe for 10 days with 2 other families it was excellent plenty sunbeds every day at any time.
The Asian and Italian restaurants were excellant. Also great bar snacks all day and the hotel main restaurant had fantastic choice for adults and children.
The help yourself drinks were great no waiting .The mini bar was always filled not that you needed it. Rooms were spotless. Cleaned every day and were big with plenty of storage.
Entertainment wasnt up to much but with all that free drink we made our own. We will be back!

Having just returned from this hotel yesterday we have already been looking to go back in September. We could not fault it in any way. Most people we spoke to have returned here.
The hotel was so clean, we even saw the maids hoovering the balcony walls. Clean towels every day, toiletries in the bathroom & mini bar stocked daily.

Stayed in the Tenerife part of the complex in a junior suite.
Excellent hotel definitely 4* superior. Service, cleanliness, choice of food, all excellent.
Hotel is situated in a remote area but there's a regular shuttle bus to Las Americas from sister hotel next door for 4 euros per person (13.00hrs is free)or if you prefer a taxi will set you back between 12 & 13 euros.
We just returned home this morning (28/5/05). The weather was really warm and there are enough sunbeds to go round!
The whole setting of Bahia Principe Tenerife and the beautiful weather made us think we were in the Caribbean and only a 4 hours away instead of the 10 hour flight to Caribbean.
Will definitely go back to Bahia Principe Tenerife next year!

Fantastic!!!!!
This was our second visit and we found everything first class again.
Food was delicious and lots of it. My 10 yr old son loved the snack bar.
Rooms were cleaned daily.
Staff very helpful and friendly.
Can't wait to return next year..

We stayed at the Bahia Principie in may 2005.on arrival we were dropped off at the Adeje section, but where soon taken up to our reception which was in the Tenerife section by a lovely bell boy on a golf type buggy.

Our first word on arriving at our junior suite was "wow".
Fabulous room, huge balcony, mini bar well stocked. So clean and beautiful.
The staff are friendly and work very hard.
We had several vegetarians amongst our party. We found the food great, always several choices and different every day. The Italian restaurant had fab food too.
Cannot wait to return again, hopefully next year.

Location is a major downside. Had to get up at 6am to get a sunbed even though these were not meant to be prebooked due to the fact that the Germans were out in force.
Stayed at Tenerife annexe which was poor in standard compared to Adeje annexe.
Food was good in buffet restaurant but all others were poor and basic and not like proper restaurants - we ate in the Mexican and ordered chicken fajittas they came with no guacamole, sour cream etc. only chicken on a plate and wraps. Most of the time had to clear own table due to poor service. Drink was of very poor quality - watered down etc. lack of choice. In fact couldn't get a drink after 11pm even if you wanted to buy one as the bar closes.
Entertainment awful, snack bar at the Tenerife absolutely terrible.
Staff very impersonal and unfriendly.
This hotel is definitely only a glorified 3* and this holiday was very expensive and turned out to be a costly lesson.

We travelled to Tenerifa for our honeymoon.
After spending 2 weeks reading reviews of hotels,we decided to stay at the Bahia Principe.I must admit it was beyond what we expected.This hotel made our holiday complete.
It is located on the seafront,built on a cliff,with amazing view over the sea. The complex is so huge that you need roughly 10 minutes from one end to the next. The staff were so friendly and ready to attend to your every need.
We booked all inclusive,and one could basically eat around the clock.The food ,oh my GOD! so much variety. EXECELLENT. I have never eaten so much, from cavier to king prawns.
It is quiet and romantic,one feels at peace in this hotel. I could write pages and pages about this hotel,but what we felt is basically beyond description.
Thank you Mr.Alemany and staff. I hope you keep up the super standard in the hotels.

Excellent hotel. It had a good, relaxing atmosphere.
The pool area was lovely, though the pools were a bit chilly!
The hotel has 5 restaurants as well as the buffet style one and all were excellent. The oriental one was brilliant.
The staff made you feel very welcome. It was my birthday while we were there and when we came back to our room at lunch time, there was champagne and chocolates as a present for me.
The only slight drawback for me was the location. It was a bit far out. The hotel does provide a bus but it only goes up and down twice a day. A taxi into Playa de las Americas is about 12 euros each way.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone and hope to go back there in August.
