The resort its self was again very clean and well looked after. I would recomend a visit to Lora Park. But Avoid Sandras Bistro

Around the hotel Riu Garoe was lovely, the Botanical gardens are well worth a visit.
There is also an indoor shopping centre with a supermarket over a busy road from the Botanical gardens.
The town centre is quite nice, the best part is where the Spanish hang out round the square, nice shops, restaurants and pubs.
We did'nt visit the lido, it looked very crowded and the hotel pool was so nice anyway.
We stayed 11 nights and there were still things we did'nt get chance to do.
The North is definately more beautiful than the South of the Island.

i thought that tnerife was one of the nicest places in spain that i could of gone to and overall i think that its cleanliness was very good

It's turned into a third rate Morecambe on a very wet windy day.

The resort was very clean and tidy,a good walk into the centre was a good way to walk off a fantastic breakfast.
The beach was pretty small and not really a good place to sunbath and read.

The resort is in a great location on the island and as I can speak some spanish it helps me.
The location is just right so it's a short walk into the main shopping area and for bars and restaurants.

Very clean and tidy.
The carnival was on and it was excellent a good laugh to see the beg men running around in high heels will their false boobs hanging out. There was an obsticle course and they were given pints every few yards and by the end they could hardly stand up.
I like the resort and will go back but to the Tenerife Playa hotel nice food and no insects.

Our first visit to Tenerife we went for some winter sun. We stayed at the Dania/Magec which is fairly centrally located. Found the resort to be quite clean. Descent selection of bars (British) can highly recommend Rockerfellas (spelling ?) run by Terry and Donna they really made us feel welcome excellant food and a decent selection of drinks.
Be warned there are some quite steep hills here perhaps not so suitable for the less mobile or if you are like me lazy. We didnt venture into the sea as during our stay it was really rough but the course sand beaches where clean.
If you are staying here then Loro Park is a must for all ages I went along purely because my girlfriend wanted to go but found it to be a fantastic day out the sealion and dolphin shows worth the admission money on their own.

We liked it, pretty to the south, but cloudy, it made us go walk about, I think 1 week enough with out transport, went to the parrot park, very nice day out even without kids.
Beach black sand,ok though, had some lovely sand sculptures, like dolphins and Simpson’s, was there for fiesta/carnival,good.
Some nice places for drinks and cakes, which we didn’t have as food to good at hotel was not hungry. Yes would go again.

Not a good resort for families or young people.
The resort is mostly full of older couples and Spanish people. Very little is in English and the entertainment consists of small bars which shut relatively early.
The beach is non-existant but the shopping is good with some great bargains on electrical items.
