Location is a bit rural but is only 20 mins from airport ( Dalaman airport is horrendously busy - never seen anything like it).Sarigerme is a lovely small Turkish village with about a dozen shops and a couple of bars with friendly locals and a great little market on a Sunday - some great bargains and the quality of gifts/t-shirts etc better than other places we've been to.The shop Freestyle Boutique has great t-shirts with designs not able to be got on the market - the ownwer is great!

The hotel is great - the buildings are superb with huge pools and grounds which will be beautiful once everything is established. The beach although not developed yet was peaceful and nice for an afternoon stroll.

Check in is a bit of a nonsense with you having to fill out registration forms which wastes time - we also had to wait around 1 1/2 hrs to get our room even though we arrived mid afternoon.

Most problems at the hotel are about a 'Tom' watch which you had to credit with money to pay for safe/sunbed cushions/icecreams etc.You need to watch them as there were many problems with them while we were there.

The hotel staff were very good in particular the maids and poolside entertainment team. The poolside music was ace - some sound system they have.Reception lot were a bit grumpy at times but they had a lot to contend with trying to sort out problems and deal with the huge turnover of guests.

First Choice Reps were a waste of time - never wanted to help you - it was always someone elses fault and you were left to try and sort things out yourself with the reception staff - and they didn't know a great deal about the complex.

Food in the main restaurant was a bit repetitive but there was always something there which was tasty. The late night snacks though are just the leftovers of the evening dinner reheated so beware! The theme restaurants are superb with waiter service.Snack bar was a bit junk foodish but the kids liked it - the freshly made pizza and pide from the stone oven is gorgeous - could eat that all day!!

Entertainment is nothing special - a bit like Butlins abroad.Kids clubs are great but there a lot of hidden charges here such as having to pay for things they make and for some of the evening parties - the kids club reps certainly put in the effort and the hours - up to 11pm.

Bars are very busy in evenings - they dont have enough beer taps or staff on - they will need to sort this out as many people complained about having to queue.

Pools are massive and as everyone will say watch the slippy pink tiles which is the First Choice logo.Pools look fantastic at night all lit up.

All in all we had a great holiday here and would maybe consider going back in a few years - it would be great to see the place established - and it was fun meeting up with people from Holiday Truths!

Myself, husband and 4 1/2 year old son arrived on 27th June for 2 weeks. Again, like other reviewers nervous about what to expect. We may have been extremely lucky but to be honest we cannot legitimately complain about anything - although there are some comments to be echoed.

When we arrived in the evening we booked in and were shown to our room within 10 minutes! The room was fab - completely finished, very clean, good location and importantly kept spotless for the whole 2 weeks.

The maids would even put flowers on our bed and fan out our sheets (being a cynic however, it probably was to get a nice fat tip at the end!) and we only had a standard room - the sofa however gave you curvature of the spine and was very uncomfortable.

The pools were as most people have said unbelievable and the best thing there. In our first week however getting up at 6am to get somewhere to plonk your bum for the day was not fun - but I suppose that is par for the course. The second week was better when the Tropical opened as there was the opportunity to go over there.

Food was OK, husband and son liked it. I enjoyed the breakfasts (except the sausages, baked beans and tomato ketchup) the handmade pizzas were lovely. We tried the Indian and Italian, they were ok (Indian better). Drinks were OK - watch out for the Tang especially with the kids.

If you want your child to be climbing the ceilings at midnight and have a permanent pink Tang smile them give them Cherry Tang (it's apparently banned in UK because of the E numbers!)

Entertainment was as expected (went to Holiday Village Costa Del Sol last year) so expectations weren't high - good job really. The Ampitheatre was the most uncomfortable place ever, but our son loved the mini disco and I won at bingo so it made paying the inflated priced ice-creams a little more bearable.

Location is poor, but as expected (read the brochure guys and use your common sense) noone is going to put two huge hotels complexes in the middle of a busy resort as they want you stay on-site and spend extra money there.

Kids Club was good albeit took lot of time to book kids in and out of the thing, thus loosing valuable 'kid free' time. But they were great with the children. The Swim Kids girls were great and well worth their

Found the hotel was everything it should have been and more.

Good selection of food and if nothing took your fancy you could always have salad and chips! No-one looked to be starving.

The only complaint that I would have is the constant moaning and groaning from other people.

One particular day we saw two women taking empty vodka bottles to the rep...Because it was out of date!!!!!! The date was when it was bottled but this is an example of how some people wanted to moan.

Another thing I saw was an adult who had cut his leg, get into the baby pool to clean it! These are the type of people that complain about out of date drink but are the very ones doing disgusting things. Another woman gave her child a cup from which she had drank a coffee from, to play with in the baby pool. We took our kids out of that pool and went to the snake pool.

Beware also of the First Choice reps they are not at all helpful if you do have a problem. A key to one of our rooms broke in the door and the reception wanted

We stayed at the Pegasos Palace from 4-18 July, and were a group of 8 adults, no children.

The hotel is amazing, no expense spared, and the staff work around the clock to keep it clean.

We were disgusted by the behaviour of some of the guests, throwing food around in the grounds and the main building, up to 500 broken glasses daily, cushions from the gazebos being thrown in to the pools [at the Tropical].

We found the food to be ok, lots of choices in the buffet restaurants, the snack bar was always busy and the food fresh. Down at the beach bar, they cook the snacks to order - which was nice! The themed restaurants were all ok, we found the Italian to be the one we were least keen on, the food was a bit bland!

We liked the location of the hotel, but then we wanted somewhere to relax, and we're not great shoppers or market go-ers! We bought all of our presents in the complex and found the staff at the shops to be really friendly, no problem with the money, if we wanted the change in a specific currency, they managed to sort it out for us.

We bought things from the clothes shop, which were a bargain, and four jackets and a skirt from the leather shop [great staff, very helpful - and they altered them to fit in no time at all!]

We used the health suite, the gym is great, just like back at home, and we had a couple massage, Swedish massage, seaweed wrap, head massage, face and scalp massage, sauna and used the steam room.

The staff were very helpful, we paid cash the first time and got a mixture of change which didn't quite add up! So the next time we paid with a credit card!

The indoor pool is great, but very cold!

We used the beach a lot, and swam in the sea, it's not too cold, but it does shelve quite steeply after about 6-8 feet and the current was quite strong. We played boules on the beach [when the reps turned up!] And joined in the bar quiz some afternoons. [The prize was a free cocktail!] Apart from that there wasn't much for us to get involved in, although there always seemed to be lots of children doing various activities during the day!

We did find that during our second week, it was a lot busier, and we saw groups of teenagers who were very drunk, shouting and brawling around the complex.

We found the hotel staff to be very good and were amazed at how well they coped with the numerous moans and groans they had to handle. [from the serious, air con breaking down, toilets not working, children being ill, to the trivial, like the incident with the vodka already mentioned!] We speak with so many different accents, it's hardly surprising that they have difficulty understanding us!

The first time we approached a First Choice rep [to book some outings] we found her to be very abrupt, she said she only had a few minutes and didn't seem to want to deal with us. When we spoke to her later in the week, she said that she'd had a bad day with lots of complaints! Still, it made a bad first impression!! We booked three outings, the diving trip, which was very good, they were so patient with us, and one of our group managed to dive down to 5 metres! We also went on the trip to the mud baths and turtle beach, a great day out, but too long at the beach and not long enough at the baths. The jeep safari was the best outing of all, great fun, we would have done it again if we'd had time.

We would go back to the hotel again without a doubt, it will be great to see it completely finished with the palm trees unwrapped and the gardens established. Don't get wrapped up in the minor problems and you will have a ball!

We are so jealous that we're not out there now!!!!!!!

From what I saw it is impossible to keep a building in the middle of a building site clean.

The food was terrible, it was absolutely soul destroying to see my children crying because they were that hungry.

The location of the hotel is the long and lonely dirt track to nowhere.

Hotel staff unhelpful and could only smile when spoken to, quite strange for an English hotel to have so little English speaking staff.

Entertainment.... NO, just NO.

GARETH? possibly of the in 2 action team, he deserves a medal, very helpful, the only person that at least tried.

We arrived to Pegasos Palace expecting 2 weeks of luxury what we got was nothing short of a stay at 'fawlty towers'

We didn't get the select rooms that we had paid for, just standard rooms with a sofa bed to sleep on. The sheets didn't fit the beds and there were no drawers to put clothes in just 2 double wardrobes that were smelly.

The hotel itself was pretty clean. The maids came in to clean everyday and the sheets were clean, they just didn't fit.

The hotel food was bearable it got a bit boring towards the end of the 2 weeks and the queues got longer too. If you were starving then you had no chance, 20 minute queue for beef or lamb!!

The location of the hotel was rubbish, Sarigerme is only a cock stride in a taxi but there's nothing there when you get there, there's a market on a Sunday but that's about all, you'd miss it if you blinked.

The hotel staff weren't particularly helpful at all.

The entertainment maybe would have been ok if we could get to see some, the amphitheatre that they stage it all in is like sitting in a cinema if you want to play bingo you have to do it in the dark. And this amphitheatre isn't very sociable no tables just rows of seats, nowhere to put drinks. Pretty rubbish really.

I would never visit Turkey again let alone this hotel.

There is so much listed in the brochure that isn't there. It is the first time that I have ever been to an all inclusive complex and had to pay for ice creams. You have to pay for these using a 'Tom' bracelet and they are absolutely extortionate!

Great holiday. Only downsides, not enough sunbeds and too many mozzies.

We thought the food was good with plenty of choice.

Overall it was much better than we expected after reading the first reviews.

1.Hotel was kept clean and tidy

2. Food was awful first week but did slightly improve second week

3. Location of this complex, it was out on its own, surrounded by a dusty building site.

4. Hotel staff were friendly if spoken to properly, but they were very slow and seemed not to be trained very well

5. Entertainment - what entertainment what they offered was dreadful, apart from a duo who were limited to when they could play for god knows which reason, there was no other entertainment. First Choice rep shows were awful,

I have said I would not visit this complex again, but all of the above could and should be improved on in the next few years.

What can I say but FANTASTIC. After reading all the reports from last year we didnt know what to expect we travel abroad often but it the first time we have stayed All Inclusive and in such a big complex but we would definitely return.

The food was lovely plenty of choice for us and the children and there was always snacks that you could get all day and evening until 1.30am if you wanted. All inclusive great with children as you have no nagging for money all the time husband enjoyed it too!

The childrens entertainment was brilliant my two loved it they did rafting, high ropes, canoeing, archery, football, tennis, bowling and lots more. The only thing is you dont see much off them as they have that much to do and meet lots of friends. They also do lots of family activities which you can all get involved with. Take a bag of
