What can I say about this hotel complex? Went with a few concerns but on arrival was absolutely blown away.

Every day I spent in this complex it got better & better, the food was very good and a great selection, the themed restaurants were superb & the pools were unbelievable. Apart from a few niggly things which are to be expected I cannot fault this hotel at all and it will only get better and better.

The overall cleanliness is excellent and the pool side entertainment is very good.

The First Choice reps entertainment in the evening was o.k. but again with more practice it will improve. My family really enjoyed the Wizard of Oz show and my daughter enjoyed the Grease show too. The 2 singers who perform between 9:30 & 10 pm (Lee jay & Matt I think) get a bit irritating as one evening they sound o.k. but the next they are awful. The Pegasus entertainment team are in my opinion a lot better and get the evening entertainment rocking when the Follow the leader club dance comes on!!!

Kids clubs are brilliant and First Choice really have got this spot on and they really do cater for the kids...small things let this village down at times but in comparison to the plus's they will not spoil your holiday at all.

In a nutshell I went to the Pegasus Palace full of intrepidation but was more than pleasantly surprised with the overall layout and design of the place...

I truly believe that this resort will go from strength to strength and I envy anybody going out next year as this place is going to be unbeatable!!!

What can I say we arrived at this hotel at 4.30am on 23/06/05. I had not got off the coach and wanted to get out of there. I asked the rep to move us and the reply was "Tough you will have to stay as there is no accommodation anywhere else".

We checked in and went to our rooms, I had booked a kids den this is just a small room with dividing doors, there was no play station and the rooms are very small. My mother had booked a sea view Jacuzzi room, she was facing the opposite direction to the sea and had a jcb digger outside and a cement mixer. We went back to reception and spoke to 4 reps who were not interested in our concerns. All the people that we spoke to who were staying at the hotel were complaining and told us to get out if we could.

There is a building site at the front door and to the side is the Tropical that was still being built. The other side was just a dirt track.

The beach was disgusting as was the food, it was cold, uncooked and unappetizing.

The corridors leading to the rooms were dirty with litter everywhere. The cleaners were moping the floors but had not put up signs to warn people the floors were wet, kids were walking on the wet floors with glasses of pop.

Tools were left unattended, workmen were grouting the tiles in the reception area. We had seen enough and told the reps either move us or get us the next flight out. After 6 hrs we were told we could be moved to Blue Bays Hotel in Marmaris in a self catering apartment, and it would cost us a further

Hotel was as usual in Turkey, out of the way, not a problem as your all inclusive ! Hotel was spotless as cleaners worked very hard but always with a smile on their face.

Rooms were kept in tip top condition and when maids cleaned rooms clothes were tidied and sheets sometimes made into pretty patterns on the beds which children thought was great.

Food was good with a good variety for all. Recommend you try out theme resturants.
Staff were helpful on most occasions, maybe bars are understaffed in the evening.

Entertainment was good as you could choose what type of music you liked depending on what bar you went too.
would definatly visit this hotel again as by next year any tething troubles would be gone macking this hotel top class.

We were worried about what we were going to find when we got there after reading the reports but we were not dissapointed, on arrival we were greeted by first choice reps and hotel staff, our luggage was taken to our room and we were shown where our room was.

As we arrived late we could not see much but the next day (friday) we were amazed what a fantastic sight, the pools were amazing I was a bit concerned that the tropical was never going to open on time, but when it did it was even better than the Pegasus.

This complex is amazing the food was not fantastic the entertainment for young kids was great the kids clubs offer loads of variety.

I would certainly go back.

Our room was cleaned every day.
We met up with friends we met last year 21 of us in total what a fantastic two weeks we had.

We have returned yesterday from the Pegasus Palace.

What started off as an OK holiday turned into a nightmare for our family.

Upon arrival and the half an hour queue to check in, we arrived at our room to be disappointed as was not as expected. We had a kids den and had been told that this would be the same as the family room but with an added den, which is not the case. We paid an extra

Travelled on June 23rd, a party of 12, 8 adults and 4 children. Arrived at about 4 am to be greeted with drinks. did take a long time to check in.

We had a Jacuzzi suite overlooking pool, very nice, large and clean. Cleaners were excellent and very nice. A few times they decorated the bed with lots of fresh flowers and towels in shapes of swans, really lovely to come back and see. My nephew and his wife also had a Jacuzzi room which had a water leak from the AC. Reported to reception who send men out to deal with it right away but it still was not fixed after two attempts so my nephew asked to be moved which they did later that day.

Reception staff mostly ok, did not speak very good English. I think the problem is that they were not trained very well and one member of staff would tell you one thing another something different. Some of them were not always friendly but that might have been something to do with the fact that they were being screamed at morning, noon and night by guests, some of them were the rudest people I have ever seen.

Again with the bar staff most being friendly. While we were there they had a new rule that they would only give you two drinks per person after 11.30pm which did not go down to well but it was not the bar staff fault it was what they were told to do.

Drinks were ok but very confusing over what was included. For the first few days I was drinking the Turkish local drink for Tia Maria and then was told I would have to pay for it. After seeing the Rep who told me to sort it out with Reception (they did this all the time) I did talk to them and they rang the bar and sorted it out. again I think it is because most of the bar staff were not told the same things.

My brother did say that the vodka was too weak but all he had to do was ordered a straight vodka at the same time.

Food was good, lots and lots of variety, it did seem the same after a week but no different from other AI hotels. Themed restaurants, well my party all had differences of opinion about these, I liked the Indian and Turkish but not the Italian but everybody else liked the Italian so it was just a matter of personal taste.

The beach, again it seemed perfectly fine to me, only problem no sun beds.

Cem (Jim) the watersports guy was fantastic, very friendly and nice. Look for him around the pool and say, Hi, I told him we would mention him on the internet.

Kids club, great but will only take 30 kids so book early.

Pools fantastic. Not enough sun beds so get up early.

The only thing I would change is the hard wooden benches that you sit on to watch the Entertainment. Please bring back table and chairs, much better. This was the only thing that spoiled my holiday a bit.

Oh and the watch, what a problem that was. Personally I was ok but judging by the people shouting at reception about them, lots of people had problems.

All in all my party had a good time

We arrived at 11.00pm on a Saturday night. We were booked in and shown to our rooms within 20 minutes. As we passed through the bar area, we were greeted with cries of 'you'll regret it' and 'oh look newbies' - from the cheerful soles that seemed to set out to have a bad time.

We were immediately impressed with the look of the hotel. A lot of thought and money has been spent on the decor. The room was slightly smaller than I had expected but then again, all we wanted to do in their was sleep and get ready to go out.

Our first morning we were impressed with the variety of food. If anybody says the breakfast is repetitive - that is because they offer just about every choice available every day. Eggs for instance - boiled (3 and 5 minutes). scrambles, fried, omelets (freshly made and gorgeous). Sausages, beans, French toast, pancakes, 6 different cereals, 4 flavours of yoghurt, freshly baked breads, croissants etc., continental style - plus juices, coffee, tea, herbal tea, water. Despite this people seemed to jump on any reason to moan. Oh, the milks ran out. Well it will eventually and was always replaced as soon as possible. In the restaurant, I can honestly say that we were offered at least one item that had not appeared on any of the previous days that we had been there. So there is variety there if you choose to use it.

Pools were fantastic (best I have ever seen) and great choice of different depths. Tropical pool was great for the water slides (quite big and fast). They also had a cute little pool with 3 slides for the little kids at Tropical.

It is a bit out in the sticks and we took a couple of trips because felt a bit stir crazy. The chill out cruise was great if you like to swim in the sea.

We met some lovely people (hi Mark Liz and boys and Gordon, Karen and kids if your reading this.)

Generally very safe feel to the resort. Our patio door didn't close the whole time we were there but didn't worry. Felt happy to leave bag by pool while we went for lunch.

You will have a great time at this resort if you relax and enjoy. Will happily book there again.

Travelled to the Pegasus Palace on the 27th June for two weeks. First impression of the hotel was spoilt by the building site opposite the hotel, which our FC rep on the bus told us not to worry about "too much...".

Inside the hotel the reception area was impressive, spacious area with lounge and bar area off to one side. Booking in procedure poor, you have to fill in a form with all relevant details then kick your heels for over an hour before your room key (swipe card) is ready. Our bags were delivered to our room by a friendly porter who was obviously kept extremely busy.

We had a Kids Den room which was well appointed. Your swipe card has to be inserted into a slot in the wall to turn the power on in the room. The bathroom was on the right with sink, WC (with bidet function) and a bath with shower. The shower always had plenty water pressure with only occasional lack of hot water. Main area of the room had a king size bed, two wardrobes (take extra hangers), dressing table with integral fridge (termed a mini bar by the hotel,) we told them we did not want mini bar contents as we had been advised that the drinks were expensive. We used it as fridge for water, chocolate etc with no problem) beside tables.

The kids area was through two sliding doors with contained two bunk beds with personal lights in the walls for reading etc, a chest of drawers unit with the telly on it and a large red bean bag. The patio door leads to the patio that had a table and two chairs.

Maid service was brilliant the maids took pride in their job and went out of their way to add little touches like kids nightdresses laid out in patterns, teddies arranged etc. The only draw back with our room was that of the 14 days there on 10 days the patio door was not securely locked by the maid. Five trips to reception, three trips to the FC reps did nothing to prevent it happening, as our room was on the ground floor it was a constant worry. The safe is in the wardrobe but as it is not bolted to anything I suppose you could position it where you want! The safe was

Arrived at hotel around 4.pm told to go to the express side as I had paid for a select room, we was stood around for 40 mins before we were served as hotel staff wanted to get down the bigger queue.

We were not given our AI bracelets, the watch or directions to the room,we had to ask other guests, 35 mins after finding our room my husband went and brought our cases up to the himself, so we recived no select service.

The room itself was ok but there were no drawers for underware etc, the kids slept on a sofa bed which the blanket didnt fully cover, the Air condition didn't work in our room after the first 10 mins so most days the thermometer was registering in the 80's, we did complain to the reception but anything you say gets written down and then binned as nothing was ever sorted.

The safe was sat on the table, which the reception tried charging me 40 euros for although the rep said it was 1 euro a day..so watch for that.

We were only left 2 towels a day even though there was 4 of us and when they were taken in the morning to be washed we never got fresh ones till around 8 pm so we were only able to use 1 towel a day as tea stopped being served at 9.00!

The beach was hot and if you could get past the wood, weeds and stones then it would be ok.

The food was repetative, by the first 4 days we could predict exactly what we would be having, chips were like scraps it was rare to found potatoe in them. I would advise you to bring some brown sauce to add flavour.

The pools were magnificent the only part of the hotel that was above expectation, there were 17 pools and around 11 slides so we were all kept happy during the day although you do need to get up before 6am to get a bed.

The kids club was brilliant the kids went at least 2 times a day, mid afternoon when its at its hottest and late night 9-11 which helped save them from been eaten by the mozzies.

The entertainment was like watching a school play the reps couldnt sing and it was them practically every night, the bar at the entertainment only had 2 staff on so most nights it had around 90 people queing at once!

Overall during the day (not including the food) the holiday was fantastic, but if you include the food and the entertainment it went well below a 4 star, I would say I paid for a 4 star and got a 2 star and I for one wont be returning!

Have just arrived back from a brilliant stay at the Holiday Village Pegasus Palace. Group of 11 of us 5 adults and 6 children aged from 4 years to 15 years, travelled out on the 27th June for two weeks (would love to be still there ). There is something for everybody.

The hotel is superb, all brand new, rooms are spacious for a family of four with Air conditioning that worked no problem once the Balcony door is shut correctly and the key card is in the room.

The hotel is spotless and kept very clean by the staff, the maids for the rooms do not bother you to get out of the room for it to be cleaned even if it is 6pm it will be still cleaned once you have left it. They are there all day every day.

The food in the main restaurant had something for everybody. The breakfast I have to say being our favourite, pancakes went down a bomb with the kids, and the cereals as well. All hot food was cooked fresh in front of you. One night they had beef steaks and boiled potatoes which was superb.

The pool bar snack food was open from 11am to 4pm, and was all self service, again no queues and you could just help yourself.

The bars need more staff, and as mentioned the vodka was a bit weak but just order a straight vodka and add to your drink. The local beer was fine and combine it with sprite and make a shandy it was even nicer.

The arcade for the children was great value, we just gave them their money at night time and they played the various things from Bowling, to Air Hockey to pool to playstation etc etc...

The shops in the hotel are ok and have newspapers and the usual sweets etc....

The pools at this hotel are the best I have ever seen, the slide pool has four water slides in it, a small white one, a yellow one slightly bigger and then a orange again bigger and the biggest a blue one.... they are open between 10am to 12noon and 2pm to 4 pm. There is also more in the Tropical which opened while we were there, it is smaller and quieter than the palace but also superb. The pool areas there have lots of little areas where you can get massages etc, and a night time are lit up beautifully.

The other pools in the palace are superb, there is a snake kiddies pool with a twisted small slide and mushrooms that shower water, an elephant slide baby pool which our four year old lived in. The adult pool to the left of this has two Jacuzzis in it, and the main pool has water shoots and a Jacuzzi also and is huge and wasn
