We arrived at the hotel after reading a great deal of negative comments on this website - they were absolute rubbish!!!!

The hotel was fantastic as were the facilities - 17 pools in total.

The kids clubs were on practically all day long and the range of activities was superb, my 5 year old had the time of his life and made loads of friends.

The staff were extremely helpful and eager to please; plates were cleared quickly and service in the restaurant and bar was as efficient as could be expected in a hotel of this size.

First Choice reps worked extremely hard and were subject to holidaymakers moaning unnecessarily but dealt with the moaners patiently and efficiently.

Entertainment was varied; the Grease show was really good and the FREE beach party was amazing - lazers, fireworks, a foam party and beach bar open till 2am we loved it.

I would definitely visit the hotel again. We had a fab time and made some lovely friends.

DON'T BELIEVE ALL THE NEGATIVE REPORTS AND MOANERS IT'S A BRILL PLACE.

When we arrived at Pegasos Tropical in the early hours we were greeted by friendly staff and a cold, non-alcoholic cocktail which I thought was a lovely gesture, attention to detail is marvellous there has certainly been no expense spared at this hotel and the sister hotel, the Palace.

I came to this hotel with a lot of mixed feelings that came from this very site, and I need not have worried, the room (Family Room) was ideal, the room was very spacious, remarkably clean, and well presented, a bowl of fresh fruit and a bottle of wine was waiting for our arrival, another lovely gesture.

The main restaurant was brilliant, at every meal time there was plenty of tasty meals to choose from, the whole families tastes were catered for. All the restaurant staff worked extremely hard, I particularly liked the fact that some of the food was cooked in front of you, so yes you may have to wait a little longer for some meals but I think is was certainly well worth the wait.

Entertainment was okay, the staff did try and I had many a good nights entertainment, and you will too as long as you don

We stayed at this hotel in July, and I have posted on this site with my full review before. I would like to add that

I have folowing reviews placed after we visited mocking the holiday makers that had a bad time and had to complain that we did have a valid reason to do this.

The hotel might be great now, but we had paid alot of money and most of us did not get value for money.

Yesterday I received a full apology for our treatment from First Choice with a large refund. They fully admit there were problems and this is justification for our complaints about the treatment that my family and many others received.

I am happy that things have improved, but please accept that we did not experience such good conditions and please stop doubting us! Maybe if me and many other guest had not made such a fuss while we were there, then action might not have been taken so quickly.

Pegasos Palace is like a resort in itself. The hotel and grounds are breathtaking and a great deal of time and money have been invested in the place.

Staff are permanently cleaning and the maid service was truly excellent with daily cleaning of the rooms and linen changes.

I loved the special, little touches of flowers on the bed and placing the towels into heart shapes.

All the staff, from the reception staff to the cleaners and bar staff were courteous, friendly and willing to help. I have always found Turkish people to be the most friendliest and genuine anyway.

The only slight negative point would be the food. The selection was amazing and there was a huge choice daily. I did not care for the fact that food was not hot at all and became resigned to eating lukewarm food. Even when you served yourself without having to queue up, the food was still warm.

I am not sure what can be done about this but it did definitely spoil my time there.

Firstly the check in was like a cattle market, no organised queues so basically people just arriving if they were rude enough could get their rooms before patient people.

The hotel is brand new and cleanliness is very good. The food is 3 star at best and you could not compare it to the quality that you would see at a Riu hotel. The speciality reataurants were booked up by 9 am and though we did manage to get into them a couple of times they didn't cater for young children.

The bars were understaffed so a lot of time was spent simply queing for a drink. The hotel staff were fine really apart from the on site doctor who butchered our daughter. The entertainment was outside and ranged from good fun to childish.

The biggest problem we found was that the slides close most of the day and some families allow their children to climb the slides when shut which is dangerous, there were also minor thefts around the pool.

We would not go back to this hotel.

By most the worst experience of my life, the hotel was quite clean, but when asking for somebody to come and repair our fridge, it took all the 14 days we were these to come at least 2/3 times, and did not repair this in the end, after this we gave up asking them to come and repair it.

The food was very basic and luke warm, we were looking forward to all inclusive but not again

Just back from the Pegasos Palace last night. Stayed there for four nights with my husband and two children. Was told while we were there to come back and give some feedback. Well here we go!

The hotel is amazing, the pool is out of this world, the slides are every childs dream. My children cried when we had to leave.

The hotel has some painting to be done but not much. The food is also very good. Eat and drink until you drop - great!

Outside the hotels grounds are little dirt tracks. As you keep walking twenty minutes you come to a town - great fun.

All in all - hotel is great. Very well done! You will all love it. Will be back when we are doing our house hunting again.

Have fun.

We arrived Friday 2nd June.

The hotel was incomplete and not safe. Health and safety were a major issue for us. Smoke detectors were still covered with protective shields, sprinkers still had the safety clips attached.

Balconies were left with BIG holes where panes of glass were still not attached. Six inch nails and screws were found in the pools. Building materials scattered the hotel and the pool area. Pool tiles were not laid correctly resulting in childrens hands and feet being cut (these are now lifting from the pool surface ). Safety catches were not correctly fitted to all windows. The list is endless.

Food was very monotonous and generally cold. Our children lived on mashed potato and spaghetti. Local drinks on the all inclusive were very limited. Fresh orange, and ice cream were charged and expensive. Safety deposit boxes were not fixed into the rooms. Many of the facilities are still not complete.

The walk into the next town is about 20 minutes, but you must walk directly along the road used as a building site for the Pegasos Tropical that is scheduled to open in July (it may open but will it be complete?). Heavy plant crosses this road and the paths are not complete for you to really feel at ease to walk it (not to mention the open man holes without covers !).

Upon our return 17/06/2005 there were still many facilities not available. Golf, high ropes, water park (five slides are, but are only open certain times of the day), Archery, astro turf area, tennis is charged.

Evening cabaret was entertaining, but I'm afraid we considered it far from professional as stated in the brochure. Cables were still left exposed. The pool area is quite crowded. Beware the pool by the snack bar, the red tiles are VERY slippery. Construction work at the Tropical is next door and obvious, dust covers everywhere during the day, fires at night that you are breathing in and heavy construction plant working very late and starting again about 6.00 in the morning.

Our touch of Turkey was beautiful, but this hotel in our opinion was not ready nor safe to be let. The reps were inundated with complaints, and there were also mumerous visits to the doctor! The progress made over the 14 days we were there was pretty amazing, but nevertheless still not up to what we considered to be First Choice standard.

We will return to Turkey, but have serious doubts about this hotel.

I stayed in Pegasos Palace.

The hotel was not safe at all. There were holes all over the ground and in the walls were they are putting wires in the wires are all very exposed and children could easily touch them. the palace is full of dust with the work men everywhere. You would need a mask to help you breath.

The food is not good at all either over cooked or under cooked. The enterainment was something your three year old could have done better.

I paid for all inclusive and really you get half board. This hotel should not have opened untill another year. I am going to take action against this company this was a holiday from hell.

Anyone going out here soon should think twice.
