Whole complex is lovely, were very pleased with size and layout of bedrooms. Place kept very clean with small exception of tables at snack bar and sometimes in main dining room.

Food was ok - 7 of us and we all found something we liked most of the time - not up to 4 star standard though except in the Italian and Indian.

Complex is remote - knew that before we left.
Staff on the whole were great but bar staff had a tendancy to ignore children who were waiting to be served and tend to adults (as they had to wait upto 20 miuntes at times like everyone else, I thought this was very unfair!)
Found the alcoholic drink selection to be the poorest we have came across - this being our 3rd all inc.

Daytime entertainment is great however, evening was very dissapointing, the only exception being the beach party which was brilliant.

Have never seen so many injured people in one complex and the accidents I saw and heard about did concern me greatly. Signs were eventually put up at the shallow end of the main pool after numnerous children slipped and bumped their heads.

Biggest concern we had was discovering bare wires sticking out of the wall next to the indoor pool at the Tropical - kids were banned from there for rest of holiday.

Found beach to be ok - not quite as described in brochure but that didn't stop us visiting it a few times - anything to get a better suntan!

Done organised trip to Fethiye market and were unhappy not to be told in advance about stop at Gold Centre and Leather Shop, after these and getting the kids lunch we only had 1 and a half hours at the market.

A group of 20 of us did hire a speed boat from the beach which took us to see some caves and to a small beach - was the best morning out we had.

Was impressed with Can Jewellery based in the town - much more reasonable than the shops in the hotels.

None of us feel we will visit this hotel again, in fact this was the first trip we had all made to Turkey and none of us are sure whether we would go back or not.

If you are unable to enjoy a holiday at Pegasos Palace then you just might have a problem.

We have just returned and found the room to be excellent and well kept.

Food was good if you dared experiment beyond chips!! The Turkish food night was great.

The location is not great but that was not an issue for us.

Hotel staff were excellent. If you treat the staff with respect then you will get the same in return.

The pools and surrounding areas were kept clean despite the best efforts of some guests who discarded rubbish and glasses all over the place.

The kids entertainment was excellent.

Go to this place with a positive outlook and you will not be disappointed.

A very nice looking hotel kept very clean first week not as clean the second week.

Food found it a bit boring and repeated too many times not 4 star standard.

Location poor but it looks as if in a few years there may be more around the hotel.

Did not find hotel staff very helpful at all and entertainment was very poor too many health and safety issues with this hotel to want to return.

We stayed at the Pegasos Palace in Turkey for 2 weeks, returning on Friday 5th August. There was myself, husband and our two sons in their late teens.

I was very apprehensive before we went after all the bad press it has been having, but really we had a fantastic time. How people can moan about it I do not know and that includes statements from the rest of my family. It was great value for money.

The staff were so good, infact there were times I was embarrassed to be British as all some of them did was moan and were so rude to the staff when there was no need to be. They work so hard and really try to please. Yes, there were the odd things that could of been better, but hey thats life and it's those "little" funny things that you can laugh about later.

The only thing that really could have been better is the entertainment for adults. They really need to look at that side of things. Even an over 18's bar would be good to start with. There was supposed to be a disco in the Tropical that finished at 2 am. but it hadn't been finished yet. My sons went to the Disco X in Sarigerme which was ok for them, but it would of been nice to have some thing in the complex to do.

We met some really lovely people and the boys helped form a good water polo team.

I would consider going there again but not until a couple of years when hopefully the entertainment for adults had been sorted out.

The food was excellent the choices were amazing and the carving of shapes of food was very clever. We all put on about half a stone in weight.

There was a problem with the mosquitoes, we went prepared but still got bitten.

All in all we had a great time, it was such a shame it went so quickly. Lucky you if you are going. You will have a great time

We stayed at the Pegasos palace from 21st July to 5th August 2005. Family of 4, girls 14 and 8.

We had a really fantastic holiday. Far exceeded our expectations, especially after all the previous damning reviews.

Check in was smooth and efficent, cocktails on arrival, then taken to our room by porters who explained how to use key, air con etc, and didnt wait around for a tip as we have experienced on other holidays.

Once inside, there was fruit, and a corked bottle of red wine waiting for us, nice touch we thought.

We stayed in a standard room,on the ground floor near pool, and near reception which had a massive balcony, which wasnt advertised.Only difference to the family rooms were no carpet or bath, which was no hardship for us.
Air con worked perfectly, 24 hours a day, one small break down, in week 2 which was rectified by maintence, within 10 mins of reporting.

Constant hot water, great power shower, maids worked extremely hard, to keep the room spotless every day.

Only downside, we didnt have anywhere to store our toiletries in bathroom, where the family rooms had a vanity unit under the sink, but this was really the only fault with the room.

Pools........well what can we say?? The main one is the size of a lake, and there are countless other ones, including loads of different water slides for all ages. The ones at the Tropical seemed to be the favourites for most kids in resort, as they were bigger and faster.

Plenty of room for everyone, even with inflatables. Music was a bit repetitive, and quite noisy if you sat on the side near snack bar, especially if like me, you like an afternoon snooze!!

We sat on the island, near the jacuzzis mostly, and the bar there was much quieter. Kept spotlessly clean, staff very friendly. Had to get up about 6.30am to get sunbeds, mattresses and towels, which are all free now. Didnt find this a problem, as we find this is par for the course at most hotels abroad now, expecially big complexes.

FOOD
Buffet restaurant lunch and dinner, found good selection, good quality, only queue seemed to be for chips! There was something for every one in our opinion, you could not go hungry, unless you are extremely fussy.Chinese night on first Saturday was lovely. Breakfast was great too, the cheese tomato and ham omelettes were to die for! Kids loved pancakes. Lovely danish pastries too.

Coffee and tea was really quite drinkable, and much better than we have had in other countries. Cant understand why people found it repetitive, it was different main courses every night, and at least 6 or 7 differnt main courses too!

If you came to my house, you wouldnt get 14 different dinners in 2 weeks!!!!Went to Indian, Italian twice, and Turkish a la cartes. All very good, nice to be silver served for a change!!!

STAFF
Were very friendly, couldnt be better, a please and thankyou, doesn't cost anything and think they appreicated it and got great service throughout our stay.First choice reps very approachable, although felt very wary until we smiled, they were getting SO much stick from rude, ignorant, guests!!

We had a standing joke in our party of friends, not to ask anyone if they were enjoying their hols, as you got loads of niggly people, although we spoke to quite a lot of people who like us, were having a great time, and were going back home to rebook for next year.

LOCATION
Remote, but many all inclusives are like this.We knew this when we booked it. Sarigerme is a 5 min taxi ride, and there are a small selection of bars, restaurants, and shops.Heard 5 new hotels are being built next year, and some shops etc, across the road, so in a few years, this resort will be buzzing, then people will complain it is too busy!!

ENTERTAINMENT
Did not watch very much of these shows in the amphitheatre, as found it very uncomfortable sitting in rows, on hard wooden benches, couldnt socialise. There is a large area at the bottom of the seating, below the stage which children dragged chairs onto to watch the shows.

It could be improved so much if they filled this with tables and chairs and a small bar.Feel sure many more people would come and watch then, we definately would have visited more if this was the case. We watched West End nights, Wizard of Oz,karaoke, and Robbie Williams tribute throughout the 2 weeks. The standard of the shows was quite poor, one or two of them could sing, dance and act a bit, and they really stood out, if you know what I mean!!

Disappointed with this, as the entertainment has previously been one of the highlights of our holidays. Most of it was sit and watch, and not interactive with the audience which keeps you interested. We were often clock watching and wanting it to end.

We made our own entertainment most of the time, either watching the excellent singing duo in the island bar, or in the bar outside reception, girls spent a lot of time in games room or with their friends.

The highlight for us was the Thursday night beach party, great time had by all.

Would also recommend the trip to Dalaman mud baths, and the 2 hour speed boat trip to the caves, and secret garden, which you book with Hafit, from the Pegasos water sports on the beach.

KIDS CLUBS
Our daughter is nearly 9, but was told she could not go to Wavelength, which seemed to do all the things she wanted to such as canoeing, kayaking etc.

She tried the Taz club once, but found it quite young, as there is quite a difference between a 6 yr old and a 9 yr old!! However, someone told us there were lots of 8 year olds in Wavelength junior, which annoyed me a bit, as First Choice were very insistant she could not go due to insurance.

Got back on 8/8 from Palace.

The hotel is kept spotless by the staff, always cleaners walking around, gardens looked after all day every day.

Room cleaned every day.

Hotel food pretty good, 15 in our party and no problems with any of the food, always something different to try. Themed restaurants are a nice change, an Indian twice and Turkish once, all nice meals, make sure you get up early to book the day before, about 7.45 is a good time as there are always queues.

The palace is a bit remote but you don

I am a 14 yr old girl who has just arrived back from the pegasus palace.
I had the best holiday ever here and met loads of great people. The slides were excellent, food was fab and the pools were amazing.

The only downside was entertainment for teenagers, which me and my friends were all saying. There was a large group of us that mostly stayed in the games room and then walked around at night.

I've seen people complaining on this website about rowdy teenagers causing chaos!

There was none of this, I don't know what you are on about we were just trying to enjoy are holiday as much as any other person, noone was complaining about noisy, crying toddlers!

I would really like to visit this place next year and if you are going i am envious of you, I really want to go back!
Enjoy yourself!!!

Appalling food, tedious after several days.

Unreliable room service, erratic at best, lack of basics. Too few sunbeds, with the Brits adopting a Germanic approach to securing them at 6.00am.

Distrustful reps, all enthusiasm and little substance. Reminscient of used-car salesmen.

Corridor lighting that wouldn't pass a fire inspection. Courteous staff, who didn't speak English.

Stayed at Pegasos Palace for two weeks 25/8 to 8/8

Positive points about Pegasos Palace: -

1)Hotel complex is magnificent, attention to detail and costs of fixtures is to a high standard.
2)Rooms are spacious and very clean. Room service excellent, cleaned within 1 hour of us going to breakfast every day. Fresh towels & sheets. Maids even folded kids pyjamas!
3)Pools are fantastic, many slides and fountains. We stayed by different pool every day, starting at Palace slide pool and finishing at Tropical slide pool.
4) Themed restaurants are a welcome change. Waiter service very efficient and no rush to get you out.We had Indian twice and Italian once. We were going to try Zytin(?) restaurant at Tropical but had to pay a lot extra!
5) Weather was fantastic with temps in 40s every day. Evenings a balmy 25-26C

Negative Points: -
Most stem from other guests.....
1) Food can be luke warm - due to guests leaving lids up on dispensers.
2) Vandalism encountered included rocks thrown in pools, chair thrown in pool, rocks thrown at palm trees, kids knocking on room doors after midnight and running away.
3) Ear infections contracted by my two sons and myself - due to kids pooing in pools. Staff did their best to keep them clean.
4) Entertainment awful. Duo singing every night in Amphitheatre were rubbish as were Reps shows.

Just returned from the palace, won't be going back.

The hotel itself is nice but is already showing signs of being built too quickly.

Most of the staff are nice but they don't really have the time to spend with you.

The food was frankly,a disgrace.

The entertainment was no better and the First Choice reps were not interested.

We had stuff stolen from our room, the rep said she would look into it and didn't bother.

If you can see one inch of water from your balcony it's a sea view.

The queues at the bars in the evening were a joke, at one point we were drinking beer from sherry glasses because there were no staff to clean glasses. Be prepared for 15-30 minutes to get served. Be up at 5am and you may get a sunbed in the place you want, after 7am, forget it.

Pools are nice but someone is going to be seriously hurt soon because nobody seems to give a damn what there children are up to. The attitude and behaviour of some people in this hotel was disgusting and embarrassing.

There are some nice restaurants in Sarigerme and it's nice to go there and get a taste of how Turkey really is, compared to First Choices idea of it.
