The all inclusive at the Palace was as good as any other I have visited although the spirit selection was limited!

We had some beatiful meals particuarlaly at the themed resturants. The hotel was clean and there was no building work going on.

The area outside the hotel was undeveloped but I for one did not pay to complain about that!the location was remote but thats what the brochure said so no surprise there.

The staff were great the pools fantastic but the evening entertainment was poor the ampitheatre was very antisocial in its layout. My son signed up for the football and said it was great, he made some great friends not only other kids but the coaches too who shouted on him by name as they passed by for the whole 2 weeks.

My biggest problem was the mossies my husband had to see the doctor for antibiotics and dressings and I was bitten to death but again this was available on site.

Rooms spacious and very clean. Staff worried to look at you incase you complain. F.C. reps too young, inexperienced and becoming defensive.

Food generally good, salads very fresh, plenty of choice. We had no problems finding something we enjoyed. We were disappointed with the themed restaurants. You have to queue at 7.30 in the morning to get a booking. Once inside they rush you through. The lighting in the themed restaurants is to bright and does not create the right ambiance.

If you want a sunbed you have to be up early. Some people do not come out until 2pm to lie on theirs!

Our kids enjoyed the kids clubs. My daughter went to the swim kids which was excellent but they charge in sterling so we were stung on the exchange rate.

We were appalled by some of the other guests. They were loud, rude, badly behaved. use of bad language, poorly dressed (many football tops which I find inappropriate and Trinny and Suzzanah would have a field day)and unappreciative of the efforts of the staff. We expected to see a higher quality of gusts considering what we paid.

The hotel itself is kept very clean with staff constantly sweeping up around you.

The rooms are ok although some corners have been cut here and there.

The food is very repetitive and is ok if you like chips, pizza and half-cooked chicken. Check all meats before you eat them! There are various snack bars around the complex which do the same food day in day out but as a quick snack by the pool they are fine.

They do offer you a 'tom' bracelet which you put money on at reception and then it's used around the various parts of the hotel for branded ice-creams and imported drinks - beware - we were overcharged on ours for items that we never had which they rectified and I heard another complaint from a woman who felt she had lost about

We booked this holiday with our friends, there were 4 adults and 4 children ages 16 to 5.

There was something for everyone as far as activities were concerned, and plenty of announcements to remind you from the poolside bar entertainment team.

The brochure states that some things are payable locally, (fresh orange juice at breakfast being one thing) which questions the rating of all inclusive.

The hotel is very spacious, lovely grounds, fab pools, immaculate, it shines, it is completely finished, the rooms are like a travel lodge, everything to an acceptable standard, the maids are brilliant, we had clean towels and beds everyday.

The food, bit of mixed feelings about it, there is a great deal to chose from, boiled eggs became a laughing point, 3 minute eggs came straight from the chicken, 5 minute egg had the bounce of a power ball, and my husband had fun with the staff taking over as egg chef. Like all food, when you see a lot of it you can get fed up with it, but we all found something that we liked.

The location isn't brill, there is the town sarigerme a one horse town, it has a market on Sunday which is as good but smaller than the trip to fethiye market.

The hotel staff are hard working, smart, and friendly some spoke better English than others, I think that

Have just returned from the Palace after 2 fantastic weeks. We cannot find anything to fault.

The hotel was very clean, the staff seem to be constantly cleaning.

The pools are spotless.

We loved the food, especially the Turkish dishes, even our fussy son enjoyed it. You only had to queue if you wanted chips - more adventurous people are fine.

The hotel is in a quiet resort but we hired a car and enjoyed the quiet location. Excursions were brilliant value for money - we loved the family cruise! The market in Sarigerme is good for bargains.

The hotel staff were always friendly and polite and went out of their way to help guests. Any queries were dealt with quickly.

The First Choice reps worked very hard and the Kids Reps had bags of energy and deserve a medal. There was so much to do through the day for all of us, our kids didn't stop all holiday! The evening entertainment similar as in most family holiday resorts and my daughter and I enjoyed it. My son, who isn't keen, went to the late evening Wavelength club.

Mossies weren't too much of a problem - they had just sprayed the entire site before we arrived and we used repellent most nights.

The only negative things were a few other guests loudly moaning about trivial things and being rude about the staff.

We would visit again as there are still some activities we never had time to do!

Spent 2 weeks at the Tropical and returned 05/08/05. We have 2 children, boy 13 and girl 10.

Jacuzzi suite very spacious and had separate bedroom. The suite had a lovely garden view, very quiet and peaceful. The suite was kept spotlessly clean by a very hard working maid. Fresh towels every day and most days she had spent time doing towel sculptures. Didn't get bathrobes and slippers though!

We ate in the themed restaurants 5 times, Italian twice, Indian twice and Turkish once. It was nice to be waited on. The service very attentive but quite slow. Food at the themed restaurants very good. We found plenty of variety at the buffet restaurant at each meal time. The salads were fresh and delicious. Only saw queues for chips, children's food and donar kebabs as the kebabs were made fresh for each guest. We enjoyed lunch at the Tropical beach bar, very quiet. Salads, cheese rolls, chips, hotdogs and burgers.Children enjoyed plenty of AI ice cream, available from both beach bars and the Tropical pool bar.

Entertainment could be improved. Our daughter really enjoyed the First Choice Grease and Wizard of Oz shows. Sadly the Pegasos Snow White show was adult in its content and very, very loud.

Music at the pool bars during the day far too loud.

Pools magnificent although you do need to be up early to reserve a sunlounger if you want a particular location. Water slides at the Tropical where declared the best by our children, very fast.

Children loved Wavelength especially the water activities.

Mud bath trip great day out.

We had such a good time that we have booked to return July 2006 and are convinced that both the Tropical and Palace will continue to improve. The grounds should be spectacular when the gardens have matured and all the palm trees have opened.

Arrived home from Tropical on 12 August. Had a great time. Hotel and grounds were spotless. Staff worked very hard, especially the cleaners.

Food was OK - family always found something they liked.
Pools were the best I have ever seen. Family spent all day in them which meant we only left complex a couple of times.
Entertainment was OK - same in other complex's I have been to.

Kids Club - again, same as always - which was OK - kept kids busy when we could get them out of the pools !
A few rowdy kids at times - but then this has to be expected with 500 families on site.

Queueing for food / drink - not too bad generally but long queues at peak time.

Any problems (not complaints!) were dealt with quickly (such as one bed less on arrival and broken toilet which was replaced within 2 hours).

Hotel staff - were generally polite, worked hard and those that weren't was probably because of rude behaviour of some guests.

One small gripe was non standard use of currency - it seemed that, depending where you went, some preferred sterling, some Turkish Lira and some Euro. This meant I carried a mixture of all 3 currencies which was a pain. If you asked for a conversion, you usally lost out in the Exchange rate.

All in all, I would definitely visit the hotel again.

Never ever again. Hotel clean but after 3 weeks of being open what do you expect!

Food after first 2 days was repetitive, boring lukewarm rubbish with vast amounts of queueing for second rate meals and second rate drinks.

No restrictions on dress or conduct in restaurants so you get the usual bikini clad people and kids being allowed in wet through from the pools on marble floors, guess what next eh !!!

Pool areas vast but noisy from loud music and people crammed in like Sardines - you get the drift ?

Forget the advertised beach, there isn't one, just a strip of grit next to a dangerous stretch of sea with strong currents.

Staff in general were ok especially our cleaner but watch the staff in the shop who will try and rip you off, they tried it with me twice and stopped only when they recognised me the third time and didn't try again.

Location was out of the way but get out into Sarigerme as it will restore your faith in Turkey.

Entertainment is rubbish but worth going to to laugh at because at night there is nothing else to do unless you want to go bowling at the palace at the teenagers drinking den.

Sarigerme is very small but nice to visit a couple of times just to get away from the Pegasos Camp. A bar owner saw my wrist band and said Ah! you are staying at the crap place then. This just about says it all.

It's not even Butlins in the sun because there you will get value for money, here you don't FACT.

First Choice - I hope they get their come uppance because it should not have opened yet. Perhaps the place will be better next year after this first year nightmare but I for one won't go as I never want to step foot in the place again.

The best thing to come out of this holiday? The main road back to the airport !!!

The hotel itself was very clean, and the staff were very freindly to both adults and children alike.

There is nothing to do outside the hotel apart from a short walk to a small village (about 20mins if you are walking with children).

All the people in the village were very freindly too.
The hotel entertainment was trying - they tried and they failed.

The kids enjoyed the disco, and they also run a kids club from 9:00pm til 11:00pm which allowed some adult drinking time.

We did go and see one show, it was a Robin Williams take off, but after two songs we walked out.

After some drinking time we ended up back in our room, and fortunately we were over looking the entertainment, so we listen to the rest of the show and then went to sleep.

I was up every morning to use the gym. It was usually open from 7:30am, and a good way to start the day.

The only thing that we found boring was the food.
For breakfast you have to like eggs, boiled eggs, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, omletts, pancakes, they also served a small range of cereals, and bread rolls - which were really fresh!!

Snacks around the pool area were just the normal burgers, hot dogs, chips, fresh salad (in coolers) and local fresh fruit, you could also get filled rolls but only cheese or spam.

The second week saw lots of new staff serving drinks around the pool areas making it easier to get served your drinks.

The kids had free ice creams, but you had to pay for the ones on sticks so be warned.
