Presthaven sands filthy, smelly and run down buildings pool disgusting, club waste of time carpets stained in beer and urine smell hits you the minute you walk in! Caravan dirty shabby furniture stench from carpets, matteresses stained. Disapointed with beach had to climb over at least 30 sand dunes to finally reach the sea gave up far too knackered! Wont be going back there again...

You know the saying you get what you pay for..? Well this certinally applies here. This was one of the most expensive couple of days away you will encounter. Everything is at an additionla cost. Kiddie rides that are free at most other parks cost at least

we have just come back off our hoilday with haven to presthaven sands for 4 nights.
we thought it was fantastic. the hoilday staff were lovely and very helpful especially the funstars. the entertainment was brilliant but most nights we didnt get a seat until later that evening. the dunes showbar was very clean and tidy.
i'd also like to say that the activities during the day were very interesting. we took part in archery, fencing,roller disco and bike riding.we stayed in a 2 bedroomed standard caravan.it was very clean and tidy but i do have to complain about how small one of the bedrooms were and how hot the shower was resulting to my mum being burned but overall the caravan site was fantastic and i would defiantly visit and stay again 100% at presthaven sands. thank you for giving us a great holiday and fabulous time . charlotte

The mobile we stayed in was a simple one lovely and clean.
We had 2 problems with it
1.The location.
2. There was dog hairs on the carpet but the staff cleaned it up as soon as we asked them.
The food was fabulous x. The staff were extremly nice very very friendly and always helpful.
The entertainment was brilliant we didn't leave the site for the whole week.!.
The arcade is great very amusing and is always spotless!
The sports section is brillian this includes : Roller Disco,Inflateable pool chalange,Coca Cola football coahing,Water walkers,aquajaets and so much more the place is brilliant all togrther Iwould rate it 10/10 !!!!

caravan was inhabitable. It smelled of faeces and dampness. The dampness we later discovered was coming from the children's bedroom carpet which was soaking wet. Obviously someone had had an accident and tried to wash the carpet. But as the carpet dried it gave off a horrendous strong smell of dampness. The caravan was a rory themed caravan aimed at children, but the main door had at one point been forced opened so was not in use. The fire didn't work either.
We complained after much searching for someone to help after 6pm, but had to resort to staying in this horrible caravan overnight.
The next day they gave us another caravan, which didn't smell of dampness but of nicotine and dogs. the net curtains where a lovely yellow nicotine tinged colour to match the ceiling and the years old grease stained oven door. The carpet was filthy beyond description and to top it the TV didn't work and there was an unwashed dog food bowl in the cupboard under the sink along with cooking pots.
So distraught at the thought of having to spend a week in this filth, we drove home through the night.
I have spent several holidays in Haven sites but this is definitely the last. I have been refused a refund and have received an email that does not deny the state of the two vans. Haven write that because we used the facilities for that day, we are not entitled to reimbursement.

The caravan we stayed in was very spacious not caravans moblie homes. Three bedroom lovely hot shower. Spotlessy clean and very modern.

I have just returned from this Haven site after booking it as a late deal to visit relatives who live in the area.
The caravan on first impression wasn't too bad, however after having a good look around, the dirt and grime then started to show!!! The seating area in the lounge was absolutely filthy and had a very strong smell of urine!! We put some of the quilts from the bedrooms to sit on.
I already knew of the camps reputation so knew what to expect. As this wasn't intended to be a holiday and only somewhere to sleep, I had taken all my own bedding and we all used sleeping bags and our own pillows. Some of the quilts were very stained and smelly, one in particular had a huge roung stain in the middle( read into that what you will)!!!!!!
The caravan itself was not too bad, it was well equiped and would be more than adequate for a family self catering holiday, however to expect people to sleep and sit on stained and soiled funiture is unacceptable.

We stayed in an 8 berth caravan at the site. The caravan was reasonably clean and comfortable.
