Hello. I am lucky enough to be going back to Gran Canaria on Christmas Eve for the week! Just got back 12th Nov!
Booked flights with Thomas Cook and accomadation through Cosmos to stay at the above.
Anyone been to these apartments at Christmas and if so, what should we expect? We are going half board.
Whats Puerto Rico like at Christmas? Are pubs etc open Boxing day?
Is there a path to Puerto Rico as we love walking and like Amadores-yes I know its a trek but as I say, walking is not an issue!
P.S- I am not as impressed with Anfi as some are-windy on that beach when we have been.
Any tips etc?

Balito Beach is not quite in Puerto Rico. It is possible to walk though, We have done it from Anfi which is the same walk.
You cannot go along the road with ant safety so we usually go up the valley behind Balito and then come down into PR via the marina.
You say some at Anfi are windy ?? What do you mean - the restaurants ??

Ha ha-I actually meant we found it windy on the beach at Anfi the 3 times we went!! LOL!!!!
Will try again this time when we go, it would be a sin not to!
I'm glad that we can walk to P/Rico. W stayed at Aquasol ( near Malibu) last week which is right at the top of the hill, opp side to Europa centre. We walked daily to and from Amadores so we love walking!
