Cheap flights?

Hi

Have you tried Ryan Air from Dublin, I was on their website a few days ago and their flights look very reasonable

Or Easyjet goes to Gatwick from Belfast , as matter of interest did you get a good deal on your flights from Gatwick ? We flew DIY to Turkey last year but the flights from Belfast ( as I am sure you know ) are quite expensive, so it really isn't much cheaper to go DIY from Belfast

From Belfast you have easyJet from Belfast International (as already mentioned), and flyBe from Belfast Harbour. From Dublin its British Airways or Ryanair. Just had a quick look (assume your going for two weeks?) Belfast both easyJet and flyBe were £95, Dublin Ryanair are showing 95 Euros.

Just thought I'd let everybody know. Have just booked our summer flights through http://www.flythomascook.com and saved ourselves about £250. Four flights to Turkey £888. Have also noticed that we could have halved our bill for Easter. Still, now I know, and so do you.

Many thank's to Nik, Bagand 96, and Jenni 56, for your replies much obliged!, the posts were moved and could not find them resulting in my late replies, so sorry.

Jenni we got a deal for self catering for Icmeler for 2 week's in July, for just over £1200, but yes we do have to get connecting flight's from Belfast, we could have booked a holiday for Marmaris from Belfast in Jan., for same time and amount of week's, but my husband wanted to wait, after getting me to contact icmeler on-line for a quote, and Mr Toohey even rang me to give me the quote, which was £1500 transfers included, no insurace though although he quoted a number for insurance for all of us for £25. The holiday we booked came with free insurance and free meals on the plane and transfers, which we thought was pretty good.

Bye from Claire.

The way to find your cheap flights is with http://www.skyscanner.net

Thw results page I got is here:

http://www.skyscanner.net/month/dub/lgw/jul/jul/cheap-flights-easyez5085lgwath050223-easyez2002athltn050228.html

don't know how long it will be available for viewing.

You don't have to book through their site, just go to the airlines own site.

I phoned Goldtrail yesterday, just to get an idea of how much their flights to Bodrum were for May -

At the moment, they can do a 14 night flight leaving Birmingham on a Sunday night late, coming back early Monday morning, for £159 per person including all taxes.

I'm holding off a little while longer to book mine, but that price is about £40 cheaper than any website price I've looked at so far.

I looked at flythomascook.com after an HT member recommended it in January Managed to pick up 3 return flights from Newcastle to Dalaman,Turkey in July for £490 in total!. I kept thinking the whole way through making the booking that it couldn't be that cheap and would come up as an error but I have confirmation of my booking and am well chuffed. The same flight elsewhere (even on another THOMASCOOK website) was over £200 dearer. I even got the meals included.

I`m booked with EasyJet to go to Malaga on Feb 21st, I booked the flight last October, and I got it for £50 return ! You have to book as long as possible in advance to get the cheapest seats.

Hi, just wanted to sing the praises of and recommend http://www.cheapestflights.co.uk :D

I've been looking for a flight to Rhodes in September and what 'looked like' a cheaper fare with some sites became ALOT more expensive when you went to purchase and they then add on things like 'fuel charges' and 'taxes' something that is not an option and so is really part of the price of your flight anyway. One of these examples, advertised at £10pp cheaper, ended up being more than £30pp more expensive! :x

With cheapestflights the only supplements were 'optional' meal (glad i'm given the option of not paying for!) and insurance (i have annual cover anyway).

So if you want to book a genuinely cheap flight at the price advertised give them a try! :D
