Before everyone gets carried away making plans, today was the last day they printed tokens - and since you need three from different days if you haven't already got them you've had it.

If you have managed to collect them bear in mind that they are only valid with 4 train companies so you might not be able to go where you were thinking.

If you missed them all may not be lost. For example, if you book a week or so in advance you can normally get tickets from Birmingham to London for £10.50 single.

The "from £2.50" refers to the fact that up to 4 people can travel on one £10 ticket (in which case there is some serious saving to be had) but it's still £10 if there's only one of you. Don't forget you need two £10 tickets if you want to return home (you still only need one set of tokens to buy a return as long as you do it in one transaction).
