Interesting experience last week ! No doubt when lying on the beach chilling some little urchin comes up to you and thrusts their hand out for you to shake and say hello, once done a book and slip of "official looking" paper is put before you explaning that the poor child is either deaf or dumb or both. The paper is asking you to sponsor/donate some monies towards the childs education or welfare. I've always suspected this to be a scam???? and last week this was proven to be so, at least on this particular occasion. The young girl was chased by one of the shack lads, which was in fact quite unneccesary, he gave her a slap and took the book of her, again not needed ! She, the "deaf and dumb"girl let go at the shack lad with such a tirade of abuse and a strong arguement pursued. I found it all quite amusing, apart from the physical assault.
