We stayed at the Sonesta Beach Resort which is about 15 mins walk from centre of Naama Bay. It was very good. There were also several hotels along the beach that we passed while walking into town, but I can't remember the names! There is one called something like Jolie Ville which we were told was very good and is right in the centre of Naama Bay. Nightlife is good but if you are used to going in British bars while on holiday, there are none in Naama Bay (not that we saw anyway). Having said that there is plenty of choice.

Hi,
The Iberostar Lido, is only a few minutes walk from the centre of Naama bay (Iberostar Lido by the way is a good hotel).
Cheers Mark.

To help you decide take a look at the maps section which will give you the full choice and location of all the hotels in Naama Bay.

I go to the Sonesta beach all the time, it is one of the farthest hotels along a promenade. A lovely walk along the promenade will take you into Naama Bay in about 20 mins or a cheap cab ride.

Hotels along the promenade are....

I think there is one or two more hotels along that route, but all are on the promenade and a few minutes walk depending where you are situated. All the hotels have entertainment (Egyptian style), restaurants and places to chill. The prom is a walk along the sea front basically.
You are in the heart of it, but further enough away to sleep at night.

We're a group of 6 lads thinking of staying at the coral sea resort in nabq bay and have heard the nightlife is good in naama bay but are wondering if it would keep us busy for the week, if not, are there any other places to suggest? We don't want to go to anywhere really busy like ibiza cause we also want to relax, any advice?

The downside of the Coral Sea Resort, is that it is in Nabq Bay, about 30 mins from the nightlife is in Naama Bay. The later has Pasha, a couple of other clubs that's name escape me & lots of bars, shisah cafes & restaurants.

You would need to keep paying for cabs from Nabq to Naama, or get the Coral Sea Resorts shuttle bus in (might be too early for you) & a cab back. There are a couple of malls at nabq, and I think an english bar that shows football that might be OK for a quiet night, but not sure if there would be enough for 7 nights.

Hotels in Namma Bay on the prom bit are,the Sonesta Beach Resort, the Hilton Faryouz, the Sofitel, the Maritim Jollie Ville, The Gazala Beach resort, these are all beach-side there are others but I can't remember names off the top. You should be able to walk to all the Naama Bay nightlife from these, but most are deemed 5* so can be expensive.

I you want a cheaper option these have 4* sister hotels off of the beach, but you can use the facilities of the beach hotel, just means crossing the Peace Road for it.

Kiltman HT Mod on here recently stayed at the Tropicana Jasmine Club which is in Namma Bay, that might suit you as it is a reasonable priced AI in Namma Bay, that is walkable to the action. I will try and find a thread or two to link to.

Link to photos of hotel http://travel.webshots.com/slideshow/582330593nDtdAF he stayed in Jan so the pics are up to date.

I think you can book it either on-line with Thomson, or presumably in one of their stores
