Marmaris (Or anywhere in Turkey) in October

Hi there

We're a young couple and have been looking at going to Marmiris in the first week of October.
I never really go on holiday

lol so am not all that clued up on which resorts are good at this time of year, but have been told for the price, Turkey is good.

What do people on here reckon to Marmaris in the 1st week in Oct? Would any other parts of Turkey be better than Marmaris?

Have been readin the hotel reviews on here as well, very helpful, although have seen hugely mixed reviews for the one we are looking at (Blue Bays Deluxe Hotel) which has left me totally unsure of bothe resort AND hotel lol

whilst first week of october you have a chance of good weather you also have a chance of rain on the western side of the Taurus mountains. You may want to hedge your bets and go East to kemer/antalya/Side or alanya. No garauntees though either way but the season is longer east of the mountains.

I have been 5 seperate times in October to Icmeler which is only 8km from Marmaris, It has rained on only 1 occasion and that was last year, Temperatures during the day were in the Mid 30s in the evening it was a lot cooler around 17, I havent been to the Blue bays so cant help.
