It's a 10-15 minute walk from the Indoor Market in Marmaris, sorry cant help the appartments, If you dont want to walk take the Number 2 Dolmeus heading for the beach cost's 1.25 lira.

Having now returned, I can also add my replies.

Sea is about 15 minutes walk away,
Turn right out of the Nirvana Appt. to the end of the road by tascas supermarket, then turn right to the sea.

A little about the Nirvana Appt.
Self-catering.
We were given a 2 bedroom ground floor Appt.
Lounge was about 15 foot by 12 foot.
bedroom 1 was about 12 foot by 12 foot.
bedroom 2 was 12 foot by 8 foot.

Were sleeping 5 persons, so the 5th bed was a "pull-out" in the lounge.

This is a ball-ache as it curtails the sleeping of the unlucky person in the lounge.

Incidently this appt. is marketed as a 6 person sleeper.

This is our 6th time to Marmaris, and I am well aware of "clean and dirty" MARMARIS STANDARD.

I would give it an honest 4 out of 10.
Afterall, we saw no "roachies", but it was in need of a really good clean.
If offered the place again, I would say no thankyou.

There was air-conditioning at a price.
There is a good size fridge freezer, at least 5 foot tall.
You can get 3 x 5 liter waters in the freezer for next day.

The cooker is simply a work-top 2 burner gas thingie, that you would go camping with.
I have better in my touring caravan.

The 1 double bed in the bigger bedroom has a 4 inch mattrass, and if you don't fall asleep within 30 minutes, then you will lie awake on the hard wooden frame all night.

The 2 x single beds in the other bedroom are the same. You can feel the hardness of the wooden frame through the thin foam mattress.

There are the usuall light bulbs removed to save electricity.

There is a really good size balcony for all the towell drying, and they supplied a drying fram/maiden.
"L" shape, 4 foot wide, 12 foot one side, 10 foot other side.

I felt the security of the appt. was very poor, but that is very common in marmaris. Anyone could gain entry within a few minutes.

I presume you mean where in Turkey / Marmaris ?

Last year we were at the MARIS BEACH hotel.
Right on the front.
2 mins walk from the great FAROS BROTHERS PLACE.

The Maris Beach is in my opinion good value for money.
Not the best in Marmaris, but certainly good enough.

The Posiodon Hotel just a few mins. from Maris Beach Hotel looks good, but I have never stayed there, just walked past about a thousand times ! ! ! !
