Yes the sonesta beach resort and casino. Has 7 pools although 6 only used, a stroll along the prom past shops and entertainment and bars/restaurants. Very very quiet area, and all A1. We go in November and this year is no exception (my 9th time). Others along the same promenade are (but more expensive) Jolie- ville right on the end of Naama Bay, The Hilton, The Marriott, Jaffy resort and Sofitel hotel on a hill. Some are b& B or half board.

If you want entertainment and a 30 mins walk either by the prom or by road either way its the same distance. If you want a resort quiet, good food and large OTT rooms then this will be fine.

It is a stones throw to a beach, quite compact and busy, but has bars on the beach for snacks/food and drinks of all kinds.

Thanks for the tip. We need to fly out on the 22nd from Cardiff. But the hotel is fully booked via Thomson. Who do you travel with or do you book direct?

Kioni do the sbr, also thomas cook. Unfortunately the hotel does get fully booked up as its a popular hotel. If no joy i would email the hotel direct.
