some hotels do different levels of all inclusive - bronze, silver and gold.
depending on the hotel, silver could mean that you are only allowed to use your all inclusive at certain restaurants, restrictions on bar times (i.e. not 24 hours), local drinks as opposed to imported spirits and can also include watersports.
it really depends on which hotel you are looking at. if a hotel has different levels of AI, gold is the best you can have basically.
