Hi
We're looking to fly to Sanford in July/August, on a weekend (yes, we're gluttons for punishment), from LGW or MAN. So far virtually all the flights I've clicked on are 29" seat pitch and no seat back entertainment - can you tell me if there are any flights with a more comfortable seat pitch?
Ta!

hi,
were thinking of going to banjul from manchester on the 17th december depart time 14.25pm tcx 2468
just wondering what aircraft it will be as we travelled with tcx to hurghada last christmas on a 757/200 and a 6 hour flight was very uncomfortable.
thanks in advance

I go a lot sooner than you - I just got my tickets today.
It's the same flight number though - and the ticket specifies it's a 767 - 326 seat version.
So checking the excellent info provided on HT about aircraft - I conclude it's going to be only 29 inch legroom.

IE - the same as the 757 planes from Thomas Cook.
So - 7 hours in a sardine can to look forward to I'm afraid.

Hi there we are flying out on TCX186 7th August LGW to Sanford returning on TCX187 21st August. I've been told that there is no IFE and 29" pitch seats. Is it true that the first 15rows on this aircraft are 32" pitch seats? Can anyone confirm this please?

has tcx148 to cancun changed?
i ask this because, we booked seats 9 d e f on both legs of our trip, which orignaly showed that they were right behind the bulkhead!
giving us extra space.
it now shows there is an other row of seats in front of us. whats going on? we booked the seats early so our children had more space.
the configuration of the plane has total changed. so which plane has it changed to?
i have a feeling its an ex my travel, can anyone confirm this?

ex MYT plane yes,

although it could easily change on the day.......4 x ex MYT planes, 3 x original TCX planes......pot luck

Flying to Cancun from Manchester at the beginning of May - does anybody know what type of plane they use. Will it have the extra pitch on seats or would it be worth booking extra leg room.

Thanks

michelle45,

Your flights are operared by long haul Airbus A330-200's. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? Guide (link below). Seat pitch is 33" although they are a little narrow. I spent 8 hours 20 minutes on one last night!

Hi all,
Could anyone help me out here. I am going to Mexico in Janurary and i am looking at pre booking my seats. I flew premium cabin last time. I am aware that there is no premium service on outbound flights, but i was just wondering if anyone knows if you can pre book these seats for the outbound journey, or if they are allocated at check in?

Thanks in advance

LBA73,

Premium seating from May will become extra legroom (all 2" of it!). These should be available for pre-booking online. Seats not sold are likely to be advertised at check-in for purchase.

Thanks for that, when you're 6ft 4, you appreciate any extra room you can get.

There seems to be some confusion around the ex premium seats. It appears that these can only be booked inbound and they are allocated at random at check in on the outbound. I think it still has something to do with the APD.

xxmargxx,

I had a great time thanks. I stayed at the Bahia Principe Bavaro. I was more than happy with the flights. Both flights were operated by ex-MYT A332's as expected although the return flight was delayed by 3 hours due to a technical problem with the aircraft on the outbound. It meant a change of aircraft from the one original scheduled, but it gave me time for another cocktail before leaving the hotel! Crew were excellent on both sectors and the flight deck kept us well informed of routing and other information. Seat back IFE was adequate, it's showing its age now with it being the first generation looped system and the screens look small compared to other carriers, but it works fine. The flight cameras are always great to watch when you're landing, especially for those that aren't in a window seat. Seat pitches are fine as you would expect these days with 33" although at 17", the seat widths are a little on the narrow side. This photo is especially for you (that reminds me of a certain song from 2 Australian soap stars!);

This is the rear of the aircraft where the configuration changes from 3-3-3 to 2-3-2. Your seats are the first row of 2-3-2.
