Hello, if they take you apartment from the airport you are looking at about an hour, but they sometimes go say to Albufeira first to drop of and then you could be first or last in the area, so it could then run to two hours. I have been to Lagos a bit further than P D R and that was three hours.

Agreed - direct the journey should be not much more than 75 minutes at most but s%%d's law dictates that you are always the last one off and it takes twice that time after you have visited every hotel in the Algarve on the way.

Oh and don't forget the extra half hour waiting at the airport for the family who cannot manage to get from the arrivals area to the bus without getting lost.
