Week in Majorca Early August

Hi all.

I'm looking to book up for early August 2 Adults and a 12 year old.

I'm looking at 3 different hotels 2 in Santa Ponsa (Golf Beach Hotel and Club Santa Ponsa) and 1 in Sa Coma (Coma Gran)

I went to the Coma Gran about 20 years ago and it always stuck with me who good a holiday it was.Best family Holiday i ever went on.

Prices for the 3 are.

Golf Beach £795 Room only flying from Edinburgh.(lastcheck.co.uk)

Club Santa Ponsa £1130 All Inclusive flying from Edinburgh.(Lastcheck.co.uk)

Coma Gran £1994 Half Board flying from Edinburgh.(Am I correct in saying you can only book this through Thomsons?)

What are everyones thoughts?

Or can anyone advise me of another hotel/area of majorca.

I like both resorts but early August is going to be HOT. I do believe that the Coma Gran is the only hotel with Air conditioning so that would be my choice. The Coma Gran is a quality hotel and worth the money. Have you considered Cala Bona (my Fave) Bonaire has good reviews.Also Calas de Mallorca is small resort but very nice. Mmm lots to think about! Let me know if you want any more info.

I know it will be hot in early August but I have no choice when I can take my Holidays.In a holiday block

I'm not set on either of the 2 resorts.We just want somewhere with a good pool and decent entertainment in the resort or Hotel as my Daughter is 12.

in my opinion you cannot beat magaluf /palma nova
fast transfer from airport
near pirates
water parkes etc
we booked up the sol gaudalupe for end of july looks fabbbbbb
i love magaluf 2 adults 3 kids 16 14 and 6
its ace
if u prefer quieter bougan villa sa coma is ace also
