My husband leaves his razor at home when we go back to Turkey as he has all his shaves at the barber.

Must admit, my son looked a bit worried when they did that to his dad...think he was scared he might be next!

I think the beauty treatments are a real bargain in Turkey.

I always take a couple of painkillers about half an hour before I go - they show no mercy!
Seeing my name on the driver's board when I exit the airport;
Spicy Pide;
Shave;
Watchin the condensation trickle down a frosted glass of Efes;
Fresh fish - straight from the quayside, gutted and then on the grill;
Probably knowing that the most important decisions for the next few days is what to eat/drink and when......
