Alioddjob had a holiday at Melinda Apartments Hotel, Roda in July 2010
Just returned from a weeks stay in the Melinda Apartments. The family who run it, Antony and his wife Gail and his brother George are wonderful and welcoming on your arrival. The apartment it\'s self was HUGE and there was only the 2 of us in it. Plenty of socket points. Big mirrors. Very comfy beds if a bit sqeaky! It is set on the main road, we never even noticed the noise. Wasn't that busy a road. The pool area is beautiful. Very clean and loads of sunbeds. Could get a sunbed at anytime of day. The pool is massive compared to how many rooms there are. Pool side food is very good and quite reasonable. We were leaving earlier than this was opening and the came in early to open it for us all and see us all ...
off.

Ate in some lovely restaurants. The Drosia being the best. Odyseeus came a close second. Pirates and Crusoes are two of the bars we visited and were great. We all saw a great Freddie Mercury impersonator in Oscars. He was excellent. If you book your holiday to stay in the Melinda apartments, you won't be disappointed.

Be prepared for the mosquitos though !

Lisa had a holiday at Melinda Apartments Hotel in May 2005
The Melina Apts were nice apts to stay in. George who runs the place was a lovely guy.

The apts could have been cleaned a little more often but were not what you would call dirty.

Although the apts are situated on the main road we were never really disturbed by the road traffic noise and the position was good for getting around. Next to the apts is a fruit and veg market which was great in the morning to get fresh fruit and eggs - they also sell really good wine, very cheaply. Look out for the plastic bottles!

George has football on TV in the bar area!
