Have just come back from the Filia apartments and had a fantastic time, the rooms are quite basic but kept clean while you are there, what more do you need while on holiday.
The hotel food was lovely all cooked by george one of the three brothers.
The location of the hotel is great not to far from everything you could need and when you have had a few!!!!
The hotel staff were really great 3 lovely brothers billy well what can i say just mad!!! michael is lovely and george is just as friendly but a great cook.
The entertainment was good especially the bbq would definately recommend fantastic holiday.

We have just returned from one of the best holidays we have had without any sun shine!?!?!
We stayed for just one week in the Filia apts and unfortunatley only had one day of sun , but that did not matter as Billy (the bar man / Cheeky monkey he he he ) made up for it. He is a great host and yes he is loud but he makes everyone laugh and relax with his cheeky monkey, free flowing raki, and terrible dancing....
The apts are clean and tidy - if you can request to be in the 2nd block. If you have any problems billy micheal or george will sort them out straight away.
Anyone who has a holiday to the Filia apts will have a fanastic holiday.
Cant wait to go back!!!

Well where do I start about this place! Has to be one of the best hotels/studios I've ever stayed in! OK, so the bin where you put the dirty toilet paper only got emptied once in the week we were there, and the only day of sunshine was on the day we were flying home - but the friendly atmosphere and especially Billy the barman more than made up for it!! (The cheeky monkey!!)
Some might say he was a bit loud, but he's hilarious - a great host, some great tales of what he & a few of his friends get up to, his somewhat questionable dancing behind the bar!!
The appartment itself was great, pretty basic in terms of plates, cutlery etc (only a couple of each) but we didn't need much of it anyway as we tended to eat out in the many great restaurants in Stalis. A supermarket is just 5 minutes walk down the road, Malia is a short taxi ride away and the beach is close by too, although we didn't see much of that in the torrential downpours!! The Greek BBQ night was fantastic - great food, nice wine from what I was told (although watch out for the Raki - strong stuff!) and you even have a go at the Greek dancing around the pool!
If you do go however, try not to get the room 1 foot away from the bar like we did, especially if you plan to have a little sleep before hitting the nightlife!
All in all though, apart from the weather, it was a great holiday. We made some good friends and would definately go back. Just maybe not in the same room!!

I have visited Stalis on 15 previous occasions and stayed in many different apartments and this is the first one that I would not return to.
The apartments were fine as was the location but the antics of Billy the barman was too much to handle. The noise from the pool bar until 5 a.m. in the morning was way out of order. I like a good time on holiday but no matter where you are you have to give consideration to other parties staying in a complex, especially if it is sold as a family complex. This certainly was not the case at the Filia.
The standard of cleaning wasn't too good either. We were there a week and despite 3 requests did not get clean towels or sheets.
Would not recommend these apartments if your going with family or are looking for a quiet time.

Hotel was great.
Very clean. The 3 brothers that run hotel were very friendly. Billy who runs the bar is very funny and loud, just don"t expect early night he stays up as long as you are drinkng, Michal& George very good cooks never had bad meal once.
Can"t wait to go back next year.

Sheets changed only once during two week stay, room cleaned once also. Needs more kitchen utensils if you want a self catering holiday. Nice looking hotel but very pricey for food and drinks so did not stay around hotel muchas much cheaper to eat out. Kids pool very good, very pretty grounds. Billy good fun and friendly and yes he's loud but seemed to be the one with best rapport with guests. Entertainment comprised of football, football and more football. Promised Karoake etc did not take place. A greater selection of entertainment would go some way to attracting guests to stay at hotel bar even though prices are higher than most.

Did not know what to expect, but on arriving at the apartments at 2.00am was told by Billy the bar was open and the drinks were free, I mean what better welcome can you get, even though I do not drink.
The apartments are owned by three brothers, Michael, George and Billy.
George does most of the cooking. Never has one bad meal enjoyed the lot. Billy manages the bar, thats when he is not messing about being funny. Yes he is a bit loud. Michael deals with the running of the apartments. Three lovely fellas.
Rooms clean, bed changed three times whikle we were there and bins empty twice a week at least.
The pool is brill, one of the best pools I have swam in.
Enjoyed it that much, we all said we will be booking up again to stop at the Filia.

I found the hotel amazing, my family cried when we had to go home, but the three brothers that own it came up to us and gave us all a hug.
The hotels cleanliness was super, the sheets were changed three times a week and the cleaners mopped your floor and did alsorts.
The location was a little bit in the middle of no-where but still a 5 minute walk and your at the bus stop.
The brothers were so welcoming, Billy (the barman) was funny and always liked a joke. George did most of the cooking and Micheal was the person doing most of the hotels paperwork and stuff. the entertainment was great twice a week (at least)there was a themed night like barbecue night or Greek night.
I would definitely go again.

I have to say it was really good, the towels were changed once a week and whilst the bin was not emptied
everyday the actual hotel area and bar was kept clean.
We have no complaints, yes Billy was loud but Micheal and George were great, holiday is holiday. Will go again.

we have been to the filia twice before, we are going early August 06, and have booked for next year ! We love it so much.
We have had no major probs with cleanliness, rooms are basic, but hey, how long do you want to stay in your room, its just sleeping for a few hours ! And to get showered and ready to hit the bars etc;
What can I say about Billy George and Michael, the owners, they are all brilliant. Lovely people, you leave as friends and if you return you are wellcomed with open arms, Billy, if you read this I will bring you a Liverpool T shirt in, I hope you are looking a
after the flag I gave you !
