All Inclusive at this hotel is brilliant. All your drinks inc coffee tea etc are included. you could eat all day if you wanted to . plenty of choice salad meat fish even veg .fresh fruit even cream cakes . There are vending machines for water beer etc you can use when the bar is closed. This was very handy when we arrived in the early hours of the morning.
The hotel is very clean , maid service every day. pools are cleaned every day and tested daily.
The lifts are small but are not a problem. drinks at the bar are served in Two s which is silly, but again not a problem as que goes down quick .
The entertainment team are the best I have ever known. they work day and night to make sure you have a great holiday.they entertain parents as well as kids.you feel as though they are your friends by the time you leave. My children wanted to join in all the activities on this holiday, first time ever, but it was through the entertainment team . we will book again for this hotel as it was one of the best holidays we have ever had.

i thought the food did not have enough choice and they did not change it everyday so I had the same food for 2 weeks.I thought the staff were funny and they made the entertainment good for all the family.

The hotel Tonga was very clean, with maid service daily if you wished. There was plenty choice of food daily, which was fresh, although a table and cutlery sometimes a problem.
The hotel sits 5 mins walk from the beach, which is beautiful.
The drink policy had been changed from 2 drinks per person to 4(for adults)while there, as queues in the evening were very lenghthy, although the most i waited was 10 minutes, which you can wait if you were paying, so not to bad.
The entertainment team make this hotel. Jarl and Wendy (and the rest of the team) never stop from 10am till 12 midnight, and include everyone, with excellent shows, games etc to keep adults and children amused. They also have activities such as riffle shooting, water volleyball t-shirt painting and scuba diving, all of which my kids enjoyed.
Although if you want a relaxing day beside any of the pools.................get up early for a sun lounger as they're gone by eight in the morning.
The only thing this hotel lacks is air conditioning.

Hotel was excellent, very clean spacious. Staff were fantastic in all areas especially entertainment staff. They gave 110% in everything they done. Kids loved them all. Food good variety but not what we are used to. all inclusive is brilliant for families. Snack bar a favourite with kids. Hotel in very good location. Shops 5mins away and beach 10mins away. Very pretty and clean little town. Best holiday we have had. Definately go back and recommend it for anyone.

Just got back from Club Tonga on the 20th had a bit of a misshap at the start as the 2 oldest kids should of been next door or adjacent to us. But were actually 8 rooms away the reception staff seemed disinterested and they never did get them closer to us.
But saying that all other members of staff from the cleaners waiters,entertainers,bar man were excellent.
We got a bit bored with the sameness of the food after a while although the quality was good sometimes you need a change from pasta and fish we even went to the local chinese with another family once. Found it a bit of a bind getting only 2 drinks at a time especially as the lager comes in half pint glasses.
The pools were always cleaned daily just watch the pool near the showers if you have a small child as it looks quite shallow but it soon deepens to a metre or more.
I must warn you of the lift especially if you get between floors 1-5 the lift is at best 4 foot square when we arrived with the cases it was a nightmare getting everything up there. And was out of order at least 3 times while we were there not much fun when you have to lift a baby and push chair up or down 6 flights of stairs.
And finally the entertainment what more can i say superb for adults and kids alike from 10.00 am till midnight they just dont stop. AS for alex you cant help but laugh at a guy who looks like Lee Evans and pulls faces like Phil Cool.

having been here twice before this was the first time it was all inclusive, as expected the food in the restaurant in the evening and the snack bar during the day was first class!
The rooms were always cleaned and the 3 pools were always kept in tip top condition. But the main reason the tonga is highly thought of is because of an entertainment team led by jarl & alex who,during the day and night work relentlessly to make sure everybody is having an excellent time!
All 6 of the animacion team hardly have time to themselves but will always stop to take time out to have a chat.
The rooms were always cleaned and the 3 pools were always kept in tip top condition. But the main reason the tonga is highly thought of is because of an entertainment team led by jarl & alex who,during the day and night work relentlessly to make sure everybody is having an excellent time!

This hotel represents excellent value for money.The food was varied and always good quality,the staff were all excellent (even under extreme abuse from some of the brits )
Had a great holiday and we all came back half a stone heavier.
Pools were cleaned everyday and the entertainment staff tried very hard with the kids.
Whats all this about queing for food? was i in the same hotel?plenty of everything including drink.
Only downside is that the hotel is slightly dated ie no air con and small lifts.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to families and will consider going again myself.
The resort itself is quieter than alcudia but in some ways thats a good thing, taxis expensive though.

Visited this hotel for the second time in 2 years. We received a nice surprise upon arrival as the hotel has recently gone all inclusive. We weren't aware of this at time of booking and only paid for half board. The staff were very friendly and many of the staff from our previous visit in 2002 were still there so it was nice to renew old accquatancies. There is always plenty to do at this hotel as the entertainment staff work their socks off for about 16 hours every day to ensure both the kids and the adults are kept occupied. Jan and Alex were always round by the pool drumming up interest in the sports activities whilst Wendy and her team kept the kids occupied for a couple of hours a day. There was a different theme for the entertainment every night so you never got bored. The hotel has a 2 drink per person per service rule which was a pain at first as I was getting the drinks for all 4 in our party. After a while and the odd 50 cent coin in the tip box they relaxed a little and allowed me to get all the drinks in 1 service. The food was very good and the restaurant always had plenty of space whenever we went for meals, The waiters and waitresses were always on hand if you ever needed any help. The only downside was the fact the hotel like the resort is very popular with the Germans, and they seemed to make a point of making it uncomfortable for the small number of British guests who were ataying at the hotel.

We have just returned from a two week stay at the Club Hotel Tonga, me and my children, 2 above 17 and my son who is 11. We had a lovely holiday but found the food not to our satisfation. Although the food is nice it does not vary enough and we soon got bored with it.
The entertainment team were the best part of the holiday, they work very hard to give fun all day to the children and the adults, the evening entertainment was fantastic! So much credit should go to the entertainments manager who makes sure that the shows are excellent every night!
We did not think that the all inclusive was very good, only 2 drinks per person meant that most of us had to go up to the bar to get enough drinks. Small sized drinks meant that you could not get a pint! Furthermore if you had small children you could not get a drink for them, you had to keep going up. This was the first year that the Tonga have done all inclusive, it shows. This was the worst all inclusive we have ever been on. This did not take away the fun from our holiday, the facilities were good but toilets not kept very clean.
There were not enough lifts to cope with such a large hotel as it is very high. The pool was very cold, but once you got used to it , it was fine.
Although we had a good holiday I would not visit this hotel again, purely because of the poor all incluive service. I must express that the entertainments team are an asset to the hotel.

Just returned from 1 week stay at club tonga & enjoyed it very much.We were on the 4th floor which wasn`t too bad as there are 14 floors in all but the lift was only small up to our floor,the other 2 went from floor 5 up to 14.Food was ok plenty of salads & pasta at dinner time,cereal or cooked breakfast, chips & meat or fish at tea as well as salad.Entertainment was very good, it started with kids disco then bingo & a show or quiz followed, only problem was getting a seat as it was very busy.Room was very nice & cleaned daily it had a ceiling fan which was needed as it was stuffy at night.Kids daytime entertainment was very good with kids club for youngsters and a variety of other things to do for teenagers & adults.One fault i had as did many other brits was the germans,they weren`t very freindly & we found them very ignorant but if you can put up with that then you will have a great time.There are 3 pools which are cleaned every night but are very cold.
