This hotel looks great, even with the steep climb up the hill to get to it. Two swimming pools, a great view over the Bodrum bay and good-sized, clean rooms. I thought it was going to be a stress-free stay. However, as soon as I arrived and was warmly greeted with a \"Hello, my friend!\', I was quickly and very firmly told that I was to bring nothing! into the hotel from outside. This included water. They want you to use their \"market\", which is poorly equipped and has only the basics. If you hope to find healthy things to eat or snack on, you\'ll have to smuggle it in! I saw this happen outside the hotel - guests cramming forbidden items into their backpacks to sneak in. I am also guilty of doing this. Plus, they want euros and ...
they charge in euros, not Turkish lira at the market and the bar. It was a kind of police state. The hotel caters to couples or more so, if you\'re single, don\'t be suprised to be ignored in the dining room. Otherwise, the staff is friendly, it\'s a quiet spot and there is free Internet access.
