Sally visited the Life Apartments Hotel, Icmeler in August 2009
We have just got back from a 7 night stay at the Life Apartments in Icmeler Apartments, Turkey. Our group comprised of myself, husband and 15 year old son. Apartments are basic but clean and comprise of one double bedroom and a living area with two arm chairs which convert into beds. There is air conditioning but only in main bedroom, so you need to leave the door open so that living area benefits also. Rooms are cleaned daily.
The apartments are located in a quiet area just 5 - 10 minutes walk out of Icemeler with a lovely view of the mountains.
The owners Alev and Volcan and their staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome.
There was no evening entertainment in the apartments but the atmosphere was very friendly and after returning from ...

our evening meal in Icemeler we enjoyed socialising in the bar area with the other guests.
We chose these apartments because they are small and we thought that it would be easier for our teenage son to make friends which worked out well. We would definately recommend them on the strength of the sociable atmosphere. Many of the guests were on their 2nd or more visit which speaks for itself.

This was virtually our first holiday away together and Alev and her son Volcan made us very very welcome. Rooms were always cleaned on a regular basis and the apartments are quite spacious.
We were only on a self-catering holiday but we did eat there a few times in the evening. The food and service was superb. There was entertainment laid on but just once a week which was fine with us as we went out most evenings anyway. The staff were absolutely lovely and we have made some good friends - we are definitely going back in 2010. yes the hotel is just out of the town centre but the views, peace and quiet and ambience more than made up for the 5-10 minute walk to the apartments. i have been coming to life apartments since 2006. i have always enjoyed my stay here.
food is nice
staff are absolutly brilliant
rooms are lovely and clean
location is away from town center but only a 5-10minute walk or 2minutes in a taxi.
overall a lovely place to stay.

We stayed at these apartments last year when I fractured my ankle on our first night,I was sober honest.We had a fantastic fortnight.It was that good that we went back again this year and had a better time.All the friends we met from last year were all there again. Norrie from Scotland organised the hire of a boat for the day all drinks and food included,highly recommended what a day.I cannot speak highly enough of the staff,from Alev the owner and her son Volcan also Ozzie and Hommer all of who ended the night in the pool with all the guests singing LIFE is LIFE. The place itself is spotless and the beer is as cold as it comes, what more could antone want.

We stayed here for one week on a self catering basis
The Hotel was clean and tidy with a good pool but with one problem that I think should be addressed by the staff, that is a Big problem with sunbed hogging/Towel reserving from the day before!!
We found the hotel food was not very good and only ate breakfast once also my wife had a burger that we suspect wasn\'t cooked very well! we ate out from the hotel every day.
The location of the hotel is quite a way out from Icmeler center and the dolmus is only every 1/2 hour if you can find the stop for it in icmeler!
I must say the staff were good at the hotel and would help if they could.
The entertainment at the life apartment was non existent! brochure says BBQ nights but we never ...

"Great for families and couples"

Just returned from a great fortnight’s holiday at Life apts. We cannot praise Alev and every member of staff enough for their friendly, helpful smiling natures. The apartments were spotless large and comfortable.
The apartments are situated a short walk from the town centre (10 minutes) and we found that to be an advantage as there are views and the apartments are peaceful and airy.
Would not hesitate to recommend these apartments. This was our first visit to Turkey but it won't be our last.
