Thanks emmabee, I'd be very interested to know how they get on as since booking for next Easter I've seen completion dates range from "late 2006" to "March 2007"

As December fast approaches, I just wondered what your friends had been told about their planned stay at the Casuarina, as the Almond site still states "opening in 2007".

Just in case anyone is going or thinking of booking, this hotel is the subject of much debate over on the TA forums.

Seems it was originally scheduled to open mid 2006, then was pushed back to November 2006 and then again to mid-March 2007.

However latest press release from Almond resorts now states an opening date of 1st July 2007, almost a year late !!

Unfortunately we were booked for 30th March 2007
