Hi,

The Premier Lodge (now premier travel in group - http://www.premierlodge.com ) city centre is ideal. Its right behind the railway station on London Road, Nottingham next to the BBC studios. About £50 for a double room for the night, cant go wrong. I often stop there. Clean and comfortable!

As for getting to Nottm EMA, go from Premier Lodge into the city centre, and Im sure there is a regular bus service that should take no more than an hour to get there. Much easier!

Ps. You cant get a train from Nottingham to EMA. It doesnt have a station!

Nottingham City Transport (the city's bus service) runs a bus service to EMA every half hour I believe, in a bus the journey will take approx 30mins from the city centre. Their website is http://www.skylink.co.uk/ .

When we run out of room at my friends house, my (other) friends usually stay at the Holiday Inn at Castle Marina, its only a short taxi ride from the city centre, and can't be too expensive as they wouldn't stay there.
