Hi all
Thought I'd let you know that I've just managed to book flights for June/July 2013 via the easyjet phone 0843 104 5000!
I looked at Easyjet on facebook and saw that someone had managed to do it, so gave it a try. Bristol/Dalaman, it was a bit of a painful process, but thankfully I can stop checking the website every few minutes!!
Good luck!

I've booked to fly from Luton. £196 for 4 of us to Ibiza on 14-22 May, which even with diesel from Lancashire & back is a pretty good deal, especially as we wanted to book early due to hotel availability.
What's going on with easyjet then? Have read on another forum that some people have been able to book flights by phone also for next year

Alfie wrote:Yes it is true you can. Read my post above the one before yours, I could have booked them yesterday by phone until I was told the exortionate price. I think given the current state of the economy if these are the sorts of prices for school summer hols this year, a lot more families will find they have no alternative but to holiday in the UK

I had read your post thanks. Doesn't look good does it

Sorry you weren't able to book flights. I'm thinking if the prices are as high for the school holidays as have been predicted then lots of us will be in the same position!
I reckon they must be available online anytime now. They have obviously finalized schedules if they are able to sell flights over the phone.
i'll keep my eyes peeled on the website!

Edit to fix quote
I thought there were some good prices particularly for July going in to August to some destinations, Bodrum, Faro and Malta from Gatwick were pretty good.
Good luck if you are booking.
I am going for 10 nights me and hubby, all inclusive with luggage and transfers included for £790 total, thought that was farly good. The hotel is the Oriental Rivoli right opposite the sonesta beach (have to see my friends at sbr lol)
Seat pitches are given on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). Seat pitch on extra legroom rows varies depending on if it's a bulkhead, exit or emergency exit (overwing) row. They offer a few more inches over standard seats with the exit row (front row seats A-C) giving considerabely more room.

I was just browsing having booked our own flights to malaga! That was july going in to august. We are going mid august for 10 days and ours were around £590 with one checked in bag.
just noticed ryanair have put up some routes beyond march. Some go up to august.
We booked 6 return flights from Manchester to Tenerife for next June this morning for £1066 total price. Just checked the prices now and they are £1950! Cant believe how much they have shot up in just a few hours.
That's the way to do it, the early bird catches the worm.........
Dont know what dates you looked at lyn, but very early this morming,- 5.30 ish there were flights to bodrum from gatwick for around £135 pp (excluding bags) ditto flights to malta from gatwick were coming in around £480 that's for two adults
Thanks SC . I was looking for my nephew as he had said to me at the weekend to watch out for EJ prices for him . They are fairly flexible and have a house in Turkey so pretty much go for the whole of the summer holiday . I just did a flexible search for Izmir & Bodrum from all london airports from around the 20th July until the end of August and the prices were horrific . They would have been very pleased with £135pp .
I do need Malta flights myself but didn't pay that much last year for 3 .. just over £300. We did go early july though so that may of been why . Having just booked Egypt flights for Easter I really can't afford to book any more yet which is why I didnt even look so I will just have to take my chances and hope we can go a bit earlier again . knowing me I will go straight there now , book and bung it on my CC again

Don't know whether this is general to other holiday locations, but it makes the price horrendous for families, who are restricted to school holidays.

Alfie wrote:Its the return prices at the end of August that are making it so expensive. We booked our flights late on Wednesday night when they were being loaded, and were shocked at our expensive they were. I've just had a look again and the current price from Dalaman to Gatwick on either Friday 30th August or Saturday 31st is £362.99, just one way!!

Yes, i agree, there's a huge hike in prices in mid to late august when we're going to malaga, especially the return leg. I was determined to get in really quickly to book this time as i along with many others it seems made the mistake of waiting (in my case just a few hours) when the early summer flights were released just a few weeks ago, and lost out!
We are returning on august 31st from malaga and the price for that is now eye wateringly expensive

I was very surprised though to find that there were pretty good prices for a few destinations, last week
Of july in to august. Faro lisbon and menorca spring to mind, especially flying mid week! That was very early on though and those prices i'm sure will have risen considerably!!
Lyn, I'm looking forward to the day when i'm no longer tied to school hols. Have a way to go though as my dd has just started high school.

However, she did tell me that there will be a s school trip to france for a week when she's in year 8.!!!
Dh and i will be aking advantage of getting away then, so i'm already thinking about where we can go

We'll be able to take advantage of cheaper flights as dd's trip is in term time.

Want to go away for our anniversary for 2/3 nights probably amsterdam or barcelona. Have the option of ryanair for barcelona.
Just wondering if it will be in the next few weeks or much later.
Last year I booked flights from Manchester for November at the first opportunity in March, but there doe'snt seem a regular pattern from EJ..
Easyjet have now released flights for 2013. We have just booked to fly from Luton with them to Barcelona next June - very cheap prices too!
