***STRIKE IS CALLED OFF***
Monday's strike action is suspended. BA reinstate flights

Anyone here going to be affected by the strike action? Your airline should already have contacted you with information. You should arrive early - I would say give yourself at least 3 hours- as security lanes will be reduced. I know that BA are only allowing one small piece of hand luggage which MUST fit under the seat in front of you. Anything more than this will be put into the hold. So make sure anything vital such as medecine does come into the cabin with you.
To be honest, I would have thought that they would have been encouraging cabin luggage as the less the baggage handlers ( that are there) deal with the better. I can honestly see a lot of luggage not making flights. To this repect, use the space in your small piece of cabin luggage creatively. If you only intend to take a handbag for instance, make it a large one and add items to it. However, I suppose we need to wait till the day to find out how many are on strike.
Remember to check your airlines advice as there may be differences.
If you are heading there to fly in the next couple of days- good luck!!
