Julia, it might be an expensive taxi fare back.
Why not consider the extra expense of staying in Barcelona overnight and travelling back fresh the next day - it will probably work out a lot cheaper and more relaxing.

Thanks for your feedback. Do you have any idea what kind of time the trains stop going back to Calella from Barcelona? I've tried to look up online but the websites are all in Spanish. The extra expense may be a bit too much as we (my partner & myself) only have £400 spending money for the 5 days. Ideally i would like to get him tickets to see Barcelona FC V Deportivo when we are there to which will probably take away around £100 of that money straight away.

Another option might be to try a transfer site like resorthoppa etc - probably still be around £12 per person though.
