Most of the bars and tavernas are on the quayside road or a block back. A couple are up in Chora an uphill 20 min walk. Hotels and rooms places are scattered thoughout Skala and in an area north just past the power station. There are a few rooms in Chora but they are not marked.

Ooo... twas the wrong one. The bars/restaurants in Nea Skala (Kefalonia) are mostly along the mainstreet that goes at right angles inland from the beach. I do not know of a useful street map, there are a few useless vague ones... as always.
