For people going self catering to Turkey for the first time. Please remember to budget for air conditioning which could cost anywhere around £25 - £30 per week. Also another extra is the cost of a safety deposit box. Often newbies arrive and are astonished when they find out what it costs.

the best tip with diy holidays is to check what is included in the price, weather the base price includes transfers and aircondioning and safe deposit boxes
