Thanks everyone for the advice and help with regards to the Maldives.
We've now booked our honeymoon and we're going next February.
Weve booked 7 days on a Kenyan Safari (Full Board) then 7 days in Veligandu water villa (All Inclusive).
The flights are with Emirates which look brilliant (5 course gourmet food, loads of video and games channels and a camera looking out of the aircraft so you can see your take off and landing from an external point of view !!).
The only down side is that the flights are as follows:-

Heathrow - Dubai - Kenya
Kenya - Dubai - Maldives
Maldives - Dubai - Heathrow.

Having said that personally i think the flying is part of the holiday and ive saved hundreds doing it this way rarther than direct flights.
For anyone interested, the total cost we are paying for this s £2250 p.p.

12 Months to save - WE CANT WAIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
