The easiest way to get English TV is to get DigiTurk. You can get this from DigiTurk shops and they sell various packages, ie Movies, Sports, Family - it's a bit like Sky. You need to buy the satellite and the receiver box and they will come and set it all up for you. Not sure of the initial cost nowadays, but the basic monthly package costs 30YTL - about £12. This gives you BBC Prime and BBC World and quite a lot more. I personally couldn't live without it!

digiturk is ok but very limited. if you are a seriouse tv wartcher then bring your sky box and card over. They can fix up a dish here to receive 90% of the sky portfolio... this is of course against your sky contract but doesn't stop it happening.
