I am going on friday and wondered whether it was worth packing a box of wine? Also can I take food into the country ie bacon cheese etc????

Yes, re-sizing definately needed. I had to scroll accross, as I though I was finally going to get a glimpse of this famous leopard print thong. :shock:

We didn't need a wine box for that to happen to ours.
have to say though first choice replaced our suitcases with samsonite ones

Why would you want to take wine with you? Wouldnt you just get it a duty free?

As far as i'm aware, the restrictions on taking liquids into the aircraft cabin still apply, so duty free is out at the moment.

The current rulin is that you CAN take liquids onto the plane but ONLY that was baught in the departure lounge.

You will not be allowed to take any liquids into this area.
