Hello!
I booked a holiday in september for march 2007 at a great price for A/I for 2 adults, one child, for 7 days. I was more than happy with the price we paid.
Checking on the website for the same holiday we have booked there is now £200. more of a price difference. Of course i know TA's prices go up and down but the amount of posts i have read on here where people are having a moan about the price coming down after they booked it really is a nice feeling to see it going the other way for me and my family!!
For now that is!
Hi, it's great when that happens, we went to tenerife,in August, and a few months later, (after booking), the price had gone up by nearly £600! Then we had booked to go away for a week in October - same thing - the price had gone up by over £200, (and no free childs places left).I honestly believe it pays to book early, but this is just my opinion!
Well Done!!
Regards
BBB
We went to Turkey this August (2006), but I booked it in May 2005 (15 months before travel). In between me booking and actually travelling, the holiday price on the First Choice website increased by £1600
So, yes, booking early can sometimes be a good idea...
