Hi looking for somewhere relatively small on Corfu, with a nice beach and without the "brits abroad" feel to it - i.e. still a bit Greek.
All but settled on San Stefanos (NW)
Can anyone give me their views on this or even suggest an alternative resort?

Hi, You will love San Stef, beach is lovely plenty of sunbeds well spaced out, villlage is small but never gets over crowded lots of taverners to choose from we have been going a number of years now and still haven't been to them all. Where are you thinking of staying?

I agree that San Stefanos or nearby Arillas should fit the bill and can be recommended.
But also consider Agios Georgios north. It is a bit quieter and more 'laid back and rural' so doesn't suit everyone.
