We stayed at the Playa Pesquero hotel in May and had a fabolous time. The only way I can describe is that it was PARADISE and we had to come home!! The beach was unforgetable, the restuarants were great with a good choice of food. The Gondolo restuarant was lovely for a minute I thought we were in Venice with a full size Gondola on display, the Romantica was suberb you must try them for yourself. The staff were really friendly and we didn't find tipping was required. The pool was wonderful and the swim up bar was lovely after a day on the beach or around the pool. The rooms was exceptional and kept immaculate by the maid.
We are planning to go back for our 25th Wedding Anniversary next March - CANT WAIT!!

The hotel we stayed in was Playa pesquero in Holguin.My girlfriend and I spent 2 weeks there and let me say it was the best 2 weeks of my life and thats why we will be returning next week.

The food in playa pesquero was different i had been forwarned about earlier but when i got there it wasnt disgusting just different. The buffet had pretty much anything you wanted but there were also restaurants. The italian restaurant was great i give it about a 3 out of 5 next the gondola the restaurant it self loked amazing and the food was awesome but my favorite restaurant was the romantico you havnt completed ur trip at playa pesquero if you didnt dine at the romantico.
